3 Reasons Why Pain Sharing Should Be Invented

1. The ability to gauge exactly how bad a specific pain is by sharing it with a couple people so you can immediately figure out if something is Baseline Pain or Worrying Pain

2. The ability to allocate pain so that it’s just a minor inconvenience shared amongst a couple people rather than debilitating for one person

3. Petty vengeance

#penguin talks to the void #yes I can see all of the ways in which this could go extremely wrong but the main idea is point 1 #imagine how easy it would be to gauge baseline pain levels if I could just have a bunch of people do a thing and share #exactly how much pain it caused them #have everyone stand in a line for 5 minutes and then finally find out how fucked my knees are actually supposed to be #instead of just guessing and being told that #‘a normal amount of pain is no pain’ and ‘yeah everything is supposed to hurt that’s just life’ both at the same time

I really want to donate blood one day, partially because yknow it’s a good thing and can save a life, but also so that if there really is something wrong with me on a really surface level like blood screenings or whatever then it’d be nice to know. and also if nothing is wrong then I’ve still done a good thing!
