Rio walked through the veil between worlds, tears staining her cheeks. 

"She's not coming is she?" The voice of a young boy asked quietly. 

"I'm sorry kiddo, not yet," Rio replied, quickly donning her more human appearance.

Nicky turned his head to look up at his adopted mother. "It's alright. I've waited a few hundred years, I can wait a few more," he said with a sad smile. 

Rio's heart nearly broke all over again. To see Agatha's eyes staring back at her from Nicky's face with so much love stung like a slap to the face. Even more so after the woman herself had looked at her with so much hate only minutes before. 

Rio dashed the tears from her eyes and gave herself a quick shake. 'Keep it together for the kid, Rio.'

"So, what are we doing today, Scratchy?" She skipped towards her son with her usual childlike excitement back in her face. 

"Guess!" He replied with a smirk so like his mother's. 

"Hmm, let me think," she said, although she could already see the wooden game board peaking out from behind his back. Now that she thought of it, the board looked scarily similar to Billy's road. 

She pressed a finger to her chin in mock-thought. "Could it be death, death, life?" 

"No, Ma!" Nicholas laughed. 

"How about...things that go bump in the night?"

Crouching down before the boy, she slid her hands around his waist and ticked him. 

"AHHHH STOP!" He shrieked in childlike joy. "Ma! It tickles!" He giggled.

Rio stopped tickling her son but kept her hand pressed against his waist. With a grin she lifted him into the air. "We're going to learn to fly!"

Nicky whooped and hollered as Rio swooped him through the air, her green magic keeping him safe despite him floating away from her hands. After a moment l, she brought him back into her grasp. She pulled him towards her and embraced him tightly, his face tucking into the hollow of her throat.

She placed two kisses to the crown of his head, breathing in deeply. He still smelled like a perfect blend of Agatha and petrichor - the smell of magic. 

She took a moments to sink into the embrace, allowing herself just a moment to feel the pain from Agatha's words. Nicholas might not know what had happened, but his right embrace certainly helped to soothe the jagged edges of her heart. 

"Do you really not know, Ma?" 

Rio pulled back just far enough to see Nicky's face. "Of course I know, mi amor. You want to play my favourite game." 

The young boy beamed at her, his teeth on full display. He leaned to grab the fallen game board off the floor, then presented it to his mother.

"Maybe by the time we finish Mama will have come back to us!" He said hopefully. 

"Maybe so, Nicky, maybe so," she replied softly, even though she could still taste Agatha's reluctance on her lips.

"Do you want to be the blue coffin or the red, Ma?" Nicky asked as he pulled the game pieces from the box. 

"You know well and good that I am the green coffin, Nicky," Rio chided. 

Agatha's grin appeared on Nicky's face once more. "Well I had to try." 

She placed a kiss on the crown of his head, then ruffled his hair with her hand. "You did, you little scamp." 

She placed the game board on the floor and settled herself beside it. It really was her favourite game, but then again 'The Game of Death' was named after her.

Tips for surviving summer from your local fat bitch :)

If your really struggling with the heat these are my top tip. If you don't wanna follow them then don't 😂😂 I'm not your mother lol

All of the tips in this section are for use inside! As water can remove sunlotion and cause you to get sun burn quicker.

For inside

1. Wet a towel and wear it like a blanket.

2. Spray bottle with water

3. DRINK DRINK DRINK

4. Sleep with just a duvet cover (for bonus points put it in the freezer first)

5. Wet your hair

6. Run your wrists under cold water

7. Fill a hot wate bottle with cold water this can also be substituted for a 2l bottle of water 3/4 full. Both of these can then be frozen!

If you do go outside

1. You want hat, sunglasses, long sleeves to help from sunburn you can also buy tops with UV protection built in :)

2. Sun screen!!!! Reapply every 45 minutes

General hot weather tips

1. Avoid alcohol as it can dehydrate you

2. Put a vat of of ice and salt in front of your fan

3. Eat things like melon as it has high water content

4. Keep your skincare in the fridge especially aloe Vera gel!

For thick thighs chaffing

Liquid talc

Roll on deodorant

Or snag tight chub rub shorts

For sunburn

DO NOT use after sun on a burn!!!

After sun is to help enhance your tan and so has oils to help bring this out. Oil on a burn will make the burn worse!!! Use aloe Vera gel instead.

Also great for sunburn is talk, it causes the burn to dry and peel. It isn't the best method out there but if your impatient and will peel it anyway this does work.

Also for particularly bad burns mix vinager and water to make a spray which helps get rid of the sting :) how I don't know but it does!

Just to clarify

In BDSM there are three separate forms of power exchange. In no particular order:

So if it’s being held down or tied up during sex, or begging for an orgasm, or edging someone until they cry… that is sexual power exchange. Can you be a top and a bottom? Oh, yes, you can. You can even do it in the same romp, if that’s what works for you and your partner.

Domination & Submission is the exchange of power through emotions and intimacy. D/s (the shorthand for this) is about rules, structure, discipline, and protocol. And that can be as intense as a 24/7 Master/slave relationship, or as simple as calling your husband ‘Sir’ or ‘Daddy’ because he said so. In between is a WORLD of amazing ways to exchange power mentally.

Rules are set in place with a purpose -not just because they’re sexy. Rules are things like: Check in via text when you leave work (so I know you’re on the road and shouldn’t text). Send a photo of your outfit every morning (so I can see how beautiful you look today, and compliment you). Work out four times a week (because I want to help you stay healthy).

Protocols are similar, they are standards of behavior, such as the way you talk to and address your partner, hand them a drink, carry yourself when others are around, or present yourself to them in varying situations. Protocols are brilliant for reinforcing the D/s dynamic. Broadly speaking, you’re not often reminded of protocols unless you misstep. So something as simple as remembering to stand to your girlfriend’s left and wait quietly if she’s talking to someone at a party can reinforce your submission to her.

Discipline is about reinforcing the dynamic and enforcing rules and protocols. Mistakes are made, rules forgotten. We’re all human. That is when discipline comes in. The transgression is addressed, punishment handed out, and then the slate is wiped clean. Add in some affection after the fact and you’ve just reinforced everything you are working towards together. The intimacy required for this is pretty damn intense, and it’s important to know each other well before diving in.

Structure is key in a D/s dynamic, because without consistency, it can all fall apart. Rules that aren’t enforced are unlikely to be followed. A Dom who allows his sub to get away with everything isn’t likely to keep the respect he has earned. And respect and reverence are part and parcel of the whole kneeling thing. Likewise, a submissive who is constantly fighting the rules she agreed to isn’t respecting the dynamic, and isn’t doing her part to make it work. D/s is a lot of work for both partners, and isn’t something to be jumped into too quickly or taken lightly.

Now, to review, you can mix and match the forms of power exchange however suits you and your partner(s). And it is often different from one partner to the next. Some people fit the classic roles of Dom/Top/Sadist and Sub/Bottom/Masochist. Some people switch between sadism and masochism, while always remaining a Dom and top. Some people switch between topping and bottoming. Do you see the point I’m getting at here?

You can be any combination of those six roles in any given relationship, and that includes NOT being one of them, even when, traditionally, the others may apply.

Wanting to be in control in the bedroom does NOT automatically make you a Dom. (Say it again for the fuckboys in the back.)

Enjoying rough sex and spanking does NOT automatically make you a sub.

And you can very well be a Dom who doesn’t physically punish his sub or enjoy rough sex. And you can easily be a submissive who does not get spanked.

The definition of these terms is much broader than my summary, and will differ from person to person. Don’t pigeonhole yourself by feeling you need to adhere to a stereotypical definition of any of these terms or roles.
