Marion had a small fire going on the shore of the beach. A lush red bikini dawning her form with the latest love novel resting in her lap and a discarded half eaten smore on the side of her as she read. "You may join me. If you want." She mused glancing up from her pages, "I promise I don't bite." She closed the cover of her book after dog earring her latest page. "And besides, I'm a bit starved for company."

A crooked smile illuminated Powder's face as she trotted up to the stranger, plopping onto the sand with a soft thud. "And who said I don't?" She smirked, though the expression she wore was far from threatening. "I'm just plain starved - though some company wouldn't hurt. You gonna eat the rest of that?" She cocked a brow, breathing an awkward chuckle.

Morticia was tending to a bouquet of small dead roses. Their petals discarded at her feet. Ever since regaining her memories, she had felt like a large chunk of her heart had been missing. No Wednesday and Pugsley antics to bring a smile to her face, No Gomez to brighten her solemn moods. It was strange to be a solo Addams. When she heard footsteps, a slight smile spread across her red lips. "Oh, please do come spare me from the mundane." She turned on her heels, "what do you need? A curse for an ex or ill intended boss? A seance to wake the dead? Or perhaps just some company? I'm quite flexible."

A crooked smile twisted onto powder's lips as she stepped into the shop, eyes darting between the various displays, the still-falling wilted rose petals, and the woman's face. She paused for a moment - taking in the ghastly figure before her, dimly illuminated by the muted lamps and hanging chandeliers - before returning her attention to the peculiar decor. A brow cocked upwards as she took a few steps towards the stranger: slow, but not hesitant. "Can't say no to a good seance," she chuckled, her gaze tearing away from her surroundings to meet the other's. "What exactly is it you do here?"

It was starting to feel like he was just unlucky. Being hit by lightening once was bad enough, but that had at least been back in Central City, and definitely had changed his life. But now it had happened here? Last he remembered was walking home, next thing he knew he was in a hospital and all his memories were back. Definitely a strange time.

Finally getting the all clear, and having had some rest back home he had headed out. Alright so rest was checking his speed was back, but he couldn't admit that now. He knew he could also just text or phone people to let them know he was awake, but really where was the fun in that? Seeing a familiar friend he went up, "so am I late? I feel like I'm late".

"Late?" The corner of her brow upturned as Powder spun on her heel, a crooked smirk playing on her lips as she jabbed a pale finger into the man's chest. "Late? The party was a week ago - or is that not considered late, in your book?" She hesitated for a moment, directing her best, feeble attempt at intimidation his way before allowing the façade to crack, exhaling with a chuckle. "You get a pass - this time. Seriously, though, where have you been?"

Another day, in a town that was... fascinating for lack of a better word. Not that this place was perfect, just... different. He just couldn't calculate if the difference was good or bad. Or what had happened to his home. He was a patient man, he could wait until the moment was right, and without that information, doing anything was a mistake. What was more annoying, was that he had wanted to enjoy his coffee alone when he felt a shadow over the table. "Was there something?"

" Jeez , " Powder chuckled, hands raising in mock surrender as she took a step back, shadow retreating from where it once loomed table-side. " I thought you could use some company ? And by that I mean , " she paused, eyes quickly darting to the side before she looked back to the man, nose scrunching and lips upturning awkwardly, " there's no more tables. But it's fine , I can find somewhere else , " she shrugged, glancing across the surprisingly busy café. So maybe another table was out of the picture; at least she could take it back to the last drop - or anywhere a little less… hostile.
