There you are.

Cheeks flush with a warm, rosy hue. Lips, engorged, glistening with spit. You lean in and put your mouth on mine.  

I raise my hand and press my palm flat against your back and pull you closer still. A part of me believes our ribs will interlock, like the antlers of head-butting deer.

A sheen of moisture accentuates the fine lines beginning to form on your 30-something-year-old forehead. It’s endearing and I promptly let you know that.

We giggle into each other’s mouths.

A real woman. Like me."
