It’s that time again
My cat had a nightmare today.
I'm working, she's sleeping on my feet, and suddenly she jumped up screaming and ran around. Took lots of cuddles and some treats to reassure her.
After the last painting my hands were a bit damaged, so I wanted to do something a bit more free feeling. This was a nice exercise in mark making and trying to salvage texture in a digital painting. And yes, I fell in to the trap of thinking impressionism would be simple… but found out it was more than I bargained for xD Based on the Monet painting “Woman with a Parasol”.

Ok, so, teas!
The company Harney and Sons will sell a sample of any of their teas - even some really expensive ones - for about $3 per sample. Since I like black tea, I bought samples of three expensive black teas to see what I thought of them. Here is my assessment:
Golden Monkey ($98/lb) - nice name, tastes like tea
Keemun Snail ($130/lb - no snails harmed, tastes a little more like tea
Tong Lu Black ($180/lb) - tastes the most like tea of the three of them
Result: the higher the price, the stronger the tea taste. I still prefer English Breakfast ($22 or less/lb).
Other result: I will never be an expert on tea. It all just tastes... tea-like.

She's peeing next to, but not in, her litterbox. She will poop in the box, but not pee. I've done all I can do and the vet says she's fine. I'll find a behaviorist. I'm sad. Something's bothering her. We're ok. I'll get her help.
