Aspiration
I had always thought of aspiration as a long term goal that was really cool and magnificent but honestly rarely within the range of accomplishment. So typically I think of them as the mythical goal that normal people such as myself could rarely - if ever - accomplish. Much wiser to stick to realistic goals like graduating high school, moving out of your parents basement, or finding a well paying career that also happens to be something you're passionate about ( ok that last one is usually pretty lofty by most standards).
Most consider their asperations to be dreams more than goals, but honestly... isn't that what makes them so important? However preposterous the aim, no longer can a person sit back and call it impossible. Despite an overwhelming feeling and assurance from others to the contrary, reaching an aspiration is just as likely as reaching any other mediocre goal. The only difference resides within the goal maker. I come from a generation that has been cooed and coddled and spoiled into thinking that I don't need to try in order to succeed. This is what has lead to the death of dreams. This is why accomplishing an aspiration has become so grandiose that when an individual is contemplating their own aspirations they are more likely to say, "Nah I'll just watch Netflix instead".
I am not innocent of this procrastination of inner development. My aspiration, is to write. To be a writer not of complex detailed stories, nor of journalism or review. But to simply write in the hopes that I can help another soul in this world be happy, if not for just that one moment when they are holding my book in their hands. To me there is no greater point to writing then the expression of feeling that is conversed between to strangers that have never known each other yet both share an empathy to characters and others like them. Because where there is empathy there is also companionship. Which is one of the greatest gifts that a person can bestow to another.
I have several books that I wish to finish during my lifetime but for the longest time I believed it to be impossible for me. Since I am a poor at spelling and my grammar frustrates most editors, I simply thought it was useless to even try.
But... I still love my stories. And and after a while I came to realize that their worth to me is the only reason that I need to go on creating them. I hope that one day they will also be worth something to someone else as well. :)
Thanks for reading! And I hope that you will also try to reach your aspiration in life. <3

25 | Invisible Benefits of Gaming While Male
:: Gaming, and equality, together…probably not something most of my readers would see as a battle. But numbers three and four help me put it into perspective (which one’s stand out to you?) It’s 2014; time to realize that so muchof our society is created, controlled, and maintained by a small fraction of those in it. I love gaming for gaming, and am often criticized for it. Whether it’s my lack of item-level, difficulty settings, or the fact that for the most part I simply play games to escape rather than dominate…I know the harsh reality of gamer vs gamer. Even so, I am an invisible benefactor, and refuse to stay ignorant to life’s overall need for love.

You can read the full article here:
This applies to so much more than just the gaming world. I may not be the biggest nerd out there but I grew up with one of if not the biggest nerd around (my brother). And I am confident enough in my knowledge of comic books, anime, and manga to voice a legitimate opinion to a conversation only to be disregarded based on the fact that I am female.
Why A Peony?
Why the Peony? The answer is more personal than typical. For years we've had peony bushes in the front of our house. I always recognized that they were beautiful flowers but it wasn't until much more recently that they became my favourite flower. You see, I'm a romantic so naturally, roses were my favourite flower. However... something much more enchanting than lovely petals drew me to our peonies. The blooming season of peonies occurs early in the growing season and mournfully brief to boot. Yet each year they'd come back despite the chilly Manitoba spring. The resilience of the peony flower is so poetic that I fell in love. That no matter how harsh and dark the winter or how unwelcome the spring may be, one must always persevere bloom in the light of day. Even if one must face the winter again.
As there is not one person that I know of who hasn't had a hard time at some point of their lives, the peony reminds us to have grace for others who are in their own personal winters and and offer them courage so that they too can enjoy the sunshine.
I know that it may sound silly to some but that's ok.
As always I hope you all have a very lovely day <3

It's better to act on something rather than be inactive. Even if what you're doing doesn't work out at least you've done something and learned more of who you are by doing it.
Watching Letters to Juliet and drinking a hot cup of tea is one of the best ways to feel better when you're sick. ❤️
MOvember 2014 | The Team
:: This years Plaid Party was a TOTAL success! Even though not every member could make it out (the picture would have twice as many…). Just from student donations at the door, we raised $400 for cancer treatments that night alone! Again, a huge thanks to all the Mo Bro’s and Sista’s that spent the last thirty days putting in the hard work of spreading awareness. To the businesses that allowed us to post donation boxes, The Voice newspaper for spreading the word, and the bands (Lakes And Pines / VoV) for putting on an amazing show at the windup.
Until next year, cheers!

That mustache takes up most of my face lol...
This embroidered coat has been used several times over the years. It was first seen in 1997 on Susan Hampshire as Esme Harkness in The Grand. It was seen again in 2002 on Maryam d’Abo as Amalia Guishar in Doctor Zhivago. In 2007 it was worn by Sophie Thompson as Charlotte Bartlett in A Room with a View. Lastly, it was most recently seen in 2014 in the fifth season of Downton Abbey on Elizabeth McGovern as Cora, Lady Grantham, where it is worn as a dressing gown instead of a coat.

November Favourites!
HELLO!
The snow has finally started to fall and NOT melt away making it feel even more holiday-esque! And since I am a big Christmas fan this pleases me. :)
Now onto to the favourites!
Skin Care: First thing on my favourites list would have to be my new moisturizing. Which is honestly the best product I've ever used on my skin. What is it you ask? Coconut oil mixed with frankincense oil and vitamin e oil! Now why am I putting oil on my face? Because oil is actually good for your skin!!! Replenishing the oils in your skin actually help even out skin and in the long run reduce/gets rid of acne. Frankincense in particular is well known for its anti-aging properties and helps reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines. Since I've started using it I've noticed a dramatic difference in the look of my skin. My dark circles barely come out to play - despite being up till 2:30 am - the damage to the skin around my eyes - cause I just rub a lot when I'm tired- is gone! AND best of all is that the redness that always haunts my skin this time of year has all but disappeared. So if you have super sensitive skin like I do then this is the moisturizer for you
Make-up: Three things!
Rimmel Match Perfection concealer in 125 Fair. For all my fellow porcelain toned beauties out there you know that finding a foundation or concealer can really really suck cause most shades, even the lightest ones in the collection can be too dark and look a bit strange with the rest of your skin. Since I gave up on using foundations a little while ago ( I just don't care for how they look on me and yes I do blend the buh-geebers out of it) concealers are my make life support for my facial camouflage routine. Best part of it is that it has adaptive qualities that even into your skin colour. So big thumbs up from this girl!
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in number 40 - Pink Plum. Basically this is just super cute pinky colour that gives a great winter flush to your cheeks. The bouncy blush's from Maybelline are some of my favourite make up products in general because of how easy it use and I don't need a brush to use them. Best way is blend this item is with your middle and ring finger. literally takes about ten seconds and then you're done.
Clinique High Impact Mascara. This would be my most expensive favourite hands down but it's worth it... This mascara doesn't make my eye-lashes really clumpy and the formula is really long lasting without being a pain in the butt to take off later.
ZOMYGOSH TEA!!!
I am on a tea time binge!!! It's almost like I have Netflix in a mug and I just keep drinking favourite shows (Glug! Glug! Glug!). My mom and I found this holiday tea, - I don't know the company unfortuantely ;'( and the box is long gone too so I can't even look! D': - called Holiday Ginger Bread Tea and HOLY COW it's like Christmas in my mouth... Since I have now been officially Rocked around the Christmas Tree by this tea I officially decree it to be the beginning of the holiday season!!! ...Sides my trees already up so might as well just accept it :D.
Onesie Mania.
So at the beginning of the month my friend Manda gave me my first onesie. It's a bear onesie. I love it. This thing is so comfy!!! Plus it's so cute!
Cozy Toesies.
Super important now that it's officially winter, is keeping your feet warm! I recently invested in a new pair of slippers from Cabela's and they are so great! I love the hard sole of them and the casual loafer look to them so if i do need to run a quick errand out of the house I don't have take them off! :O
That's it for this months favourites! Thanks for reading ;3 and hope you have a lovely day! <3
I've also attached a link that hopefully explains the benefits of frankincense a bit better. :)

Why I Hate School But Love Education||Spoken Word. Love what this guy is saying. When you're making decisions for the future but aren't sure which road to take and are afraid of not doing well in academic climates it's ok to think of other options that will still lead to your success and happiness. University can be a great source of knowledge and a wonderful tool for a person but not every person.
