I personally headcanon that newly hatched Namekians are actually very sticky/slimy because they constantly secrete mucus (just like slugs on Earth) for protection/moisture control until they're bigger. Adults have learned to use this sticky slime to glue their tiny babies to themselves. That way, parents and elders can go about their day working and/or watching over the older children without worrying about losing or dropping infants.

Unfortunately, this idea didn't really translate well through an uncolored pencil sketch, so baby Kamiccolo just wound up in a baby sling instead. I'm thinking I might go over it with some digital ink and color one day.

Amazingly enough, this little goober is not Piccolo’s kid (He’s Neva’s, but that’s probably a story best left for another post)

I thought I’d take a crack at imagining a version of Zalama that kind of breaks from traditional fan interpretations. I’d like to think that maybe the late great Akira Toriyama (RIP) would enjoy a version of the mysterious dragon god being a well-meaning and goofy but still very powerful little demon kid with more magic than he knows what to do with.

I wish I could say this is my final design, but I’ve been working on trying to keep his character design consistent since last June, and his face always ends up looking different each attempt 😕

Another disappointment is that Neva doesn't have more scenes with Piccolo.

Look, I just wanted him to faux adopt Piccolo just for this series. It would've been great!

Piccolo deserves some coddling and he would absolutely hate it.... therefore, I would love it. XD

Namekians have white fingernails in the anime but since they started to be more accurate to the manga's color in Super Hero, I hc Piccolo got his nails painted black there (maybe Pan's idea and got Gohan to do it too). Just wanted another reason to draw Piccolo and Gohan's family :^)c
