Day 5: Stars and Moon

Hanako is trying to catch Nene (aka. a falling star).

Since this was the same prompt as last year, I wanted to redraw my last year submission (https://peppylongstocking.tumblr.com/post/655522816984301568/hananene-tanabata-21-day-1-star-and-moon-chibi) and make it as close to AidaIro’s art style. I’m also lazy this year, so this will probably be the only submission.

Day 7: Urban Legend

In the third stall from the end of the girl's bathroom on the third floor of the old building...

...You'll find Hanako-san.

Hanako-san will grant one wish to anyone who summons their spirit.

But in exchange, that person will have to give up something precious.

To summon the ghost, you knock three times...

"Hanako-san, Hanako-san, Are you there?"

The japanese Camellia is often associate with Hanako-kun. It represents deep longing, desire, affection, humility, and discretion.

Day 6: Grim Reaper

If you ever decide to stay at school overnight, be sure to stay awake or else your soul will attract The God of Death.

Lycoris radiata (aka. Red Spider Lily) is associated with death. Since these scarlet flowers usually bloom near cemeteries around the autumnal equinox, they are described in Chinese and Japanese as ominous flowers that grow in Hell and guide the dead into the next reincarnation. Perhaps because of these legends, people often used these flowers in funerals.

Day 5: Spider

There is a secret library in the school that you can only enter at 4 pm. In the library are bookstacks filled with every student’s life in Kamome Gakuen; past, present, and future.

It is said that white books are for living people and the black ones are for the deceased. There is a third type of book that is red. Those are the ones you should never read.

Day 4: Portrait

Shijima-san was really good at drawing pictures.

But her family didn't want her to go into the arts, so rather stop drawing she killed herself.

And now, her spirit haunts the art room.

Day 3: Raven/Maze?

There are mirrors in school that reflect a person’s heart. If a person's heart who wanders inside the mirrors is beautiful and pure, they will return to their world without trouble.

If a person's heart contains any ugliness or darkness, even the smallest a bit, the mirror will change its appearance to reflect one's deepest fear, beckoning its victim to stay forever.

Day 2: Dolls

There’s a stair in the school that is haunted. You must never set foot on the fourth step of this stair because you will be taken to the other side.

Upon entering, a spirit will ask the victim to find her human parts. Which she uses to build a 'Misaki'. If the final result of the body fails to operate, she attacks the victim and turns them into dolls.

Day 1: Tick-Tock

There's a big old clock somewhere in the school.

If you move the hands of that clock, the school's time is yours to command.

However, it is guarded by three clock keepers who represent past, present, and future.

If anyone touches the clock without their permission, the three keepers will steal the time from that person.
