I stepped in to my new role at work and I have so much anxiety about it. Unfortunately someone was let go and I ended up inheriting her cases and her team. Now I have five assistants, a larger case load, and I am terrified of failing. I have a mortgage now and I feel like I have many more responsibilities on my shoulders. I am accountable for a group of people and my decisions dictate their ability to provide for themselves and their families (not to mention the 400+ new cases that were unloaded).

I can’t sleep just thinking about it. Tomorrow I have a training I have to go to and I have a meeting with my team in the morning beforehand…

One step at a time, I guess.
