Sir Percival

Hello, this is a blog that mama runs and it's dedicated to me. My full names is "Sir Percival the Valiant", and my nicknames are "Percy", and "Percival". I'm a male dark grey hedgie, and I was born sometime around October 12, 2013. My mama adopted me on November 23, 2013. I love running on my wheel, and my favourite spot to snuggle is on my mama's shoulder. My mama has social anxiety, and likes to keep to herself so she won't be answering questions about where I live or any other personal questions. But, she said she'd answer any questions about me or my care taking. My mama bought me from an awesome breeder: Ashley's Animals in Las Vegas, NV, if you want to get a hedgie just like me. Sir Percival has a real cage now. Haha. I had to modfiy it a bit to make it hedgie safe. He also has a Carolina storm bucket wheel. He loves it. ^^

I had signed into Percy's Tumblr with my phone to post the last pictures of him, and I never signed out. Sorry for the reblogs and the vulgar post about my vehicle. Percy is doing well, and I will start posting pictures again sometime after March 15th, when we're all settled into my new place.

Substrate/Bedding

When I was first reading about substrate for hedgies, I saw a ton of posts about using aspen. I have a corn snake that also uses aspen, so this sounded amazing. Aspen is a pain in the butt with my little hedgie, and the custom cage I built him. Gah. So, I am going to try to make him some cage liners. O___O The last of my fabric should get to my apartment by Tuesday, and then I get to say Good Bye to Aspen; at least for my little Percy.

Finally back from vacation. Woah. We built Percy a new housing unit too. Here he is checking it out. Before anyone goes crazy about two floors: we set it up so he can't tumble down to the bottom. He'll be perfectly safe.

I am still away on vacation, however, I received these today. Percy is currently being hogsat by his breeder Ashley's Animals out of Las Vegas, NV. I miss my little spike ball very much.
