pretty sure if i died no one would even notice until i didnt show up for work.

i thought everything was okay. ive had a couple of really positive years in terms of progress and actually getting myself better and being happy. but recently its been slipping and now i cant cope. all i want is to feel like my being alive has a purpose. but between my stand-still life, friends ignoring me, standing me up, or just forgetting completely, i think ive had enough. i wake up in the morning wondering what the point is. every day is the same. never moving forward, never getting anywhere. just existing. watching everyone else going about, living their lives. how do they make it look so easy? I just feel so empty. this sick, hollow feeling permanently lodged in my chest like the fucking life is draining outta me and there’s nothing i can do about it. i really can’t fucking cope on my own.

at what point can i say i’ve done enough? at what point do i get to stop feeling shit about myself and stop thinking im an awful person, even though im the only one trying.  i tried. and i keep trying. but i dont know what else do to when it all amounts to nothing. i never want to be able to say i’ve ever given up on anyone in my life. but really, how many times can someone reach out only to be shot down, ignored and generally made to feel like a fucking dick before you’re allowed to be angry about it. i’m mad. im fucking livid and all i want is to be acknowledged as a fucking person who is fucking trying. i just want to help.  the saddest part is this wont even change anything. no matter how many times i say im done and i wont be made to feel like shit anymore- it’ll keep going. it always has. i’ll keep trying. ‘cause i feel bad not to. and maybe it’s a waste of time, but who knows.  like i said, i never want to be able to say i ever gave up on anyone. i just wish it didnt have to feel this shit.
