RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2012 in EZO

This year was the first time for Perfume to participate in the two-day annual outdoor rock festival "RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL" held in Ishikari, Hokkaido, Japan.

Today, as Perfume were included in the artist lineup for the first day of the festival, they took the SUN STAGE and successfully completed their performance. The setlist performed went down as follows:

Perfume has revealed the jacket covers and track list for their upcoming compilation album Perfume Global Compilation "LOVE THE WORLD".

Perfume Global Compilation "LOVE THE WORLD" is scheduled for release on September 12th. It will feature a total of 16 tracks including classic Perfume numbers like "Polyrhythm". The limited edition will come with a DVD containing the music video for "FAKE IT" and its making-of video, as well as unreleased "Polyrhythm" footage.

Perfume's "Natural ni Koishite" to serve as theme song for movie “Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu”

Today it was revealed that upcoming live-action movie adaption of the best-selling manga "Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu" will have a set of 12 theme songs. Among these 12, "Natural ni Koishite" off Perfume's 2010 double A-side single was picked up!

"Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu" is a love story between a high school girl Hibino Tsubaki who is a serious-minded and not confident about dressing fashionably, and her classmate Tsubaki Kyouta. Tsubaki is a huge playboy and the top student in the class.

"Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu" will open in theaters on December 8th.
