"Happy birthday, lad. Enjoy your outdoor time."
As soon as Elias dropped his teasing, Buck went back to his playful self seemingly satisfied by the damper he put on Elias mood.
"Augh, of course" he snickerd, rising to put his hands onto Elias hips, accepting the challenge gladly - " but do i have to remind you," he gives the younger private a rougher shove against the bar, planning to pin him between a rock and a hard place.
"What it costs to be my favourite ? Stay. My favourite? Oh and your friends? They like it like this too, 'better him than me' kind of mentality.. Surely you must've noticed?" he smiles, bright and easy.
"Oh and Vaas, has been scheduled to be put to an even kneel for a longer time. Hoyt is getting tired of the little prince's demands."
Elias was all frowny now, which could be a very hard thing to do. He was usually so bright and sunshiny, especially in the face of some of the island’s most dangerous. In fact, he most often found himself flirting and teasing the most dangerous men on the island. Buck was no exception of course, but the damper had ruined it.
He allows himself to be manhandled, even though he’s not really in the mood he does enjoy being pushed around a little bit. But he wouldn’t admit to that now, even with Buck’s hands on his hips. “Oh I’m around you more than anyone else would care to be, trust me.” The little pirate huffs, turning his head away from Buck. “And they’re not my friends... they—“ Elias struggles to find the words, but eventually lets the sentence die as he wilts. “They’re assholes. But you’re not much better! Don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing.” A finger was pointed at Buck then, which might not’ve been a good idea if he wanted to keep it attached to him.
And then, he laughs. Right in Buck’s face. “Uh-huh, sure. I’d like to see someone try to keep Vaas down. Besides, I wouldn’t let anyone hurt him, it’s a part of the job.”
Mr. Sunshine finally dropped the smile, which send another wave of giddiness through Buck - looping his fingers into the younger man’s hair, between petting and pulling. He didn’t mind the tone the pirate was taking with him, it’d all come back to haunt him later. (Elias was right, too...but that was beside the point)
“Of course,” he huffed at the reminder, “But you keep crawling back, so i think-” he pulled his head back, proving a good grip on his hair. “You’re into this, honey..”
It was the laugh, that got to Buck. Insubordination wasn't something the Hitman cared for.
“You’re making such ill informed choices..” he stepped back, leaving the younger man leaning against the bar, “Someone should teach you to watch that mouth..”
For just a second Buck toyed with the thought of leaving Elias like this, leaning against the bar, feeling victorious - only to return to camp and find his captain bend over a couch. Hughes was situated above Vaas in the pecking order, that’s what Hoyt had put him on the island for - keeping Vaas in check.
...but then he decided to give the kid his comeuppance, provoking his higher ups was ill advised after all.
Some people took a fist to the face more graceful than others. Elias was on the passable end,
Despite himself, Elias tilts his head into the touch when Buck’s fingers work into his hair. It was stupid and thoughtless, he didn’t even realize he was doing it to begin with. But he craved touch, and maybe, just maybe... he could fool himself into believing that even for just a moment, it was kind. Maybe he already had.
Elias opens his mouth to speak when Buck pulls his head back, and all that comes from him is a small gasp of surprise. He doesn’t like being in this position, not near anybody. His throat exposed, the delicate twisting chain that dipped below his shirt collar to hide its pendent would do nothing to save him if a knife were to slice open the thin flesh. Closing his mouth and clenching his jaw for a moment, he looks up at Buck. “Into this?” Well, maybe. “It’s just beneficial to me, to know what you’re doing.” Sure, let’s go with that. Elias did like to keep tabs on people, after all.
Despite the laugh, Elias was still without his sunshine. Buck had managed to pull his train of thought towards a darker path, and it showed. “Watch my mouth? But then who’s going to teach you to watch yours?” An attempt to pull back towards his lighter, more teasing self, but it didn’t quite come out the way he’d wanted it to. With his expression it didn’t land right, came off as more serious than he’d intended. He’d probably pay for that one, but to be fair he’d probably knock someone around for saying something like that to him, too.
Elias is still leaning up against the bar when Buck hits him, unexpected due to the other’s silence and step backwards. Head jerks to the side with the force of the hit but Elias makes no noise, hands holding onto the bar to keep him from stumbling. He looks back at Buck, almost stunned, before raising a hand to feel where the soon-to-be bruise was already starting to form. And then, in an instant, his sunshine returns. Bright smile, Elias giggles at what just happened to him. “Woow~ you never told me you had that much of a punch in you before, love!”
If he'd been angry before, Buck dropped his anger on a dime. Matching Elias honeyed smile, clapping a hand onto his shoulder, pulling him to a seat and firmly planting the younger man there.
"You take it so well," he chuckled pinching his already bruising cheek, twisting before releasing "it's so fun too - punishing you for opening your mouth "
Elias almost flinched when a hand clamped down on his shoulder, but he doesn’t have time to speak before he’s pulled to a seat and pushed down in it.
The pirate laughs as Buck pinches at the bruise he’s made, but a small “ow” slips out too, though it doesn’t seem to have dampened his renewed sense of playfulness. “Well of course I take it well! What kind of a worthless pirate would I be if I couldn’t take a few hits? Being knocked around is a daily occurance.” He shouldn’t have sounded so proud, nobody else got knocked around like he did. “Besides, a lot of people like me more with it open, if you know what I mean.” Mismatched eyes give Buck a suggestive once-over, and Elias playfully bites his lower lip to drive his point home.
Elias was pleasant to play with, enough spine to be infuriating at times - downright bitchy at times - but fun to mess with when he got down and dirty with him.
“Ah, you don’t remember?” Hughes squinted back at him, “What happened to the last kid Vaas picked because he was a fun punching bag? Terrible story really, don’t envy the kid.” He sighed wistfully, recalling the little native kid, falling in with his idol after hearing a little too much about him. Being a fellow rakyat, Vaas had of course taken to him, a little too much maybe. It was doomed to fall apart and when it did, the poor kid had been tied to a stake and left as a public toilet punching bag. Horrifying punishment for a perceived betrayal on Vaas end.
“Of course they do, for as much as you like to run your mouth - you better be good on your knees with it.” he squinted at him, lazily palming himself through his jeans, yeah he could see himself wrecking the kid’s throat - probably more than his throat.
Leaning forward on his elbows, he figured he should test how good Elias really was, “C’mere, “ he put out a hand, “Put your head in, daddys hand and open your mouth.”
In all honesty, Elias liked to play with Buck, too. Maybe it was the sense of danger— that thrill that ran down his spine from knowing just who he was messing with. It was exciting! Of course it helped that Buck would sometimes reciprocate his playfulness... Buck was just so unpredictable sometimes, Elias couldn’t help himself.
“Punching bag...?” Elias has to pause and think about this one. Vaas has no shortage of punching bags, but then the realization hit him like a brick and he laughed. “Oh! You mean the little Rakyat boy, don’t you? I’m pretty sure that only happened because he was Rakyat— Vaas probably just got too into it and then set himself up to be disappointed. He doesn’t do that to pirates.” At least not that severely. Elias can distinctly remember something about stockades and a whip... But he shakes the thought away almost as soon as it surfaces.
“Good? Love, nobody’s better than I am with using their mouth.” Playful again, Elias offers a wink as he licks his soft upper lip. He’s always been proud of his ability to give head, after all. And he’s never had any complaints before, in fact he only ever gets just the opposite. People just couldn’t get enough of his mouth sometimes, so long as he wasn’t running it of course.
Eyebrows raise slightly at Buck’s seeming acceptance of his flirtations, surprise at first then melting into an eager little grin. Was it stupid? Of course it was, he should know better than to play with Buck, but he just couldn’t help himself. Besides he’s already made it known that he’d be fine with just about anything— so long as Buck doesn’t leave any permanent marks. With hardly any hesitation Elias leans forward and places his chin in Buck’s palm, and opens his mouth. Mismatched eyes look up at the Aussie then, and he offers a small “Ahh.~”
Something that immediately intrigued anyone about Elias were his eyes, those mismatched colours drew anyone to him - and in Buck’s case, he wanted to see them brim with tears sometime soon. Seeing someone so fabulously self confident boil down to misery or lust was always the best part about breaking them down. He figured that he wouldn’t have to do much work to recondition, if at all condition, Elias to like any sort of playtime with him.
Kid was already messed up from Vaas and his time as a captive. Which made him a shitty pirate, really, if it came down to it. Hughes had found him being much too soft to captives, even going out of his way to help.
“Yeah, that kid.” He grunted, thinking back to the eventual end - he could still smell the kid burning. “Unfortunate, would’ve loved to get a turn myself but i wasn’t on rook during that time, busy chasing japs around bangkok.”
God that wink, Buck was itching to wipe that smile off of that kids face, he wanted to make it hurt. See if he’d still want it.
“Oh i’d fucking hope so for you,” He grumbled, though as Elias obliged and trusted him with his head and very open mouth Hughes couldn’t help the quirk of his lips at the sight - That kid was really quite something so trusting, so ready to indulge him.
“What a good boy, now lets see about those claims, mhm?” he smiled, all honey and warmth as he slipped two fingers into the pirates mouth, at first only stroking his tongue before abruptly shoving them deeper down his throat - grasping his chin firmly to keep him from slipping away should he try to get away.
He didnt leave his fingers there, he wasn’t trying to make the kid throw up for gods sake! Just gag him a little, see the involuntary tears that’d come with it.
“Really..” he hummed as he finally withdrew his fingers after a few more rounds of this little game, wiping his fingers carelessly on his jeans - still holding Elias chin. “Such a good boy, arent you? Practically gagging for it.”
Elias’ eyes always stood out starkly against his pale skin and dark hair. They were always so wide and bright— both colors shining like jewels. How bright would they be filled with tears?
In all honesty, Elias was a hard one to condition. That’s how he managed to become a pirate after all, was by his sheer unbreakable determination. Can’t really sell what you can’t keep in a cage, after all. Despite this however, the task isn’t impossible. One would have to rely more on mind games to make him do something he didn’t want to. Lucky for Buck, all the groundwork of mental instability had already been laid for him. Now he just needed to figure out how to tap into it.
To be honest, Elias hated working with the captives. He had such a soft spot for them— if anything was going to get him in trouble, it would be them. But he was convinced that nobody had noticed, if asked why he went so soft on them he’d say that he didn’t want to be the one responsible for fucking up the product. If anyone asked him why captives usually escaped under HIS watch, well... he wouldn’t know what to say. Lucky for him all of the other pirates were too stupid to figure out who’s fault it had been. If he’d known Buck was keeping an eye on it too, well, he would have fought one hell of a lot harder to not be on captive duty.
Letting the previous conversation of the Rakyat boy slip away, Elias focused more on the feeling of rough fingers under his chin. He couldn’t help but to beam at the sight of that very slight smile on Buck’s face— Elias loved breaking through cold demeanors. And then that tone of voice came, with the pet name, and Elias nearly melted in Buck’s hand. He accepted the fingers in his mouth with no problem, fighting the urge to close around them and suck. That’s what he was usually expected to do when fingers were in his mouth afterall, but he figured it’d be best to let Buck take the lead and say what he wanted.
A bad idea most likely, because then those fingers were shoved down his throat.
Now, Elias doesn’t have much of a gag reflex. But the suddenness of the action pulls a small one from him, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. His entire body tenses but he doesn’t pull away or bite down, remaining open to Buck despite the momentary contraction of his throat. He only does this once more until he grows accustomed to the pattern, the gagging stopped but the tears brought to his eyes still rimming as he stays relaxed for the rest of the little exercise.
When it’s over and Buck removes his fingers, Elias takes a deep breath, and laughs as he closes his eyes in an attempt to blink away the tears. “No fair, you caught me off guard!”
