First rain in about a month, have to say I’ve missed it. Rain clears the air and brings life back to my dying basil plant.

See you later Summer, it’s been real.
Alfie loves the beach, you can see it in his expression. I’ve just about trained him well for sitting still for photographs now!
Took two of my best friends out for a walk today, spring has finally sprung!
Lake Windermere, September 2013. Taken on my 550D during a camping trip with two of my best friends. Never really understood the beauty of England until I visited the Lake District.
Water repetition GIFs are like second nature to me now, in fact I’m struggling to remember how I used to make them.
If someone would like to pay me to travel and make cinemagraphs that would be swell. I’m waiting for you.
Ice was melting off the walls in Reykjavik, ducks were bathing in it.
I took this cinemagraph a year ago but wasn’t sure how to tackle the water repetition. I finally feel like I’ve conquered the water, and improved my cinemagraphing skills enough to do it some justice. Turned out even better than I imagined!
I absolutely LOVE my panasonic GH4.
So does Alfie.
I had to give him false promises of cake to make him stay in this position.
So, I’ve discovered fairy lights are an AWESOME way to create a moving still. Here’s one in action featuring yours truly.
Expect many more fairy light photos!
I am in love with the Panasonic GH4. Though my computer could use an update to keep up. 10 years to render!!!
Making tea with Yamar and Jack.
Now in 4K
When I open the curtains to snow pouring from the sky... nothing can wipe that smile from my face.
Waiting for the last tram in Bydgoszcz.
Urrgh. So flags don’t repeat with the same beauty as water, I’ve learned.
Both my computer and I have had enough of it. I’ll solve it one day, but for now this one is in the practice pile.
Took Yamar to Camerimage film festival in Poland and he loooooved it. This is the padlock bridge in Bydgoszcz, we left a padlock here on our anniversary. (We didn’t have the key for it, so it’s probably already fallen off the part we hung it on). Hopefully not a bad omen!
This plane flew over my head while I was trying to capture a completely different cinemagraph. The framing isn’t great, but I was so stoked I caught this!
