lowkey really stupid theory that I cant get out of my head 😭
but when thinking about who The Roaring Knight is, I cant stop thinking about how when it comes to the dark world, we're not always searching for a who, but often times, a what.
I think The Knight is literally the night.
now, I dont doubt that the Holidays do have some sort of tie to The Knight, im sure Carol is, at the very least, working with The Knight to bring her daughter back. I dont see her as an evil dark entity, I see her as a desperate mother who's gone far too long without answers.
SECONDLY, i would not call myself a theorist by any means, so all my "proof" consists of very few things ive noticed and interpreted so i would not be at all surprised if I was wrong 😭🙏
Anyway, onto my thoughts and evidence ☝️🤓
1. The Knight being The Night would be really funny, what a dead giveaway, thats hilarious to me, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that idea would at least pop into Tony's head
2. So far, in the couple of times we have seen The Knight, its been during the night, and theyve appeared in more than one dark world, so theyre probably not anchored to a specific one, similar to Ralsei
3. Considering Ralsei (who i personally think is a shadow in the light world) is a prince, I think these types of darkeners could be devising a sort of royal court. If not an entire court, then the "royalty" titles at the very least connects Ralsei and The Knight
4. The Knight seems to be enveloped in darkness, while they do have a form, they seem to be wearing no colors or light at all. As for their antlers, I think they wanted to give off some sort of form that would give some sort of familiarity or security to the Holidays, specifically Carol, so shes more willing to work with them. Similar to how Ralsei seems to look similar to Asriel to Kris.
Like I said, I dont have a ton of evidence and i wouldnt be surprised if this ended up being wrong, but its something thats been in my head for awhile that I just wanted to get out of my head LMAO 🫡
