Dog Walking Team

Welcome to the Dog Walking Team. Our team of trained dog walkers is able to offer you four levels of service, depending on what you would like for your dog. These four levels are as follows:

Level 1 dog walk:

Your dog will be walked on a lead for the agreed time and returned to your house safe and in the same state he was found in. Your walker will pick up any poo in bags and deposit them in the nearest waste bin that accepts dog waste. No behavioral training is included in level 1.

£12.00 for 40 minutes

Level 2 dog walk:

As level 1 but also to include teaching your dog to depart your house in a calm and orderly manner and to walk on the lead without pulling regardless of distraction. The emphasis is teaching your dog how to behave, not that your dog must be walked for the agreed time.

£16.00 for 40 minutes

Level 3 dog walk:

As level one and two but also to include the teaching of the recall, regardless of distraction and the use of long or extending leads can be used to do this. Level three can only begin when level two has been achieved. Interaction with other dogs can only be allowed when the recall has been trained, tested and proven to work.

£18.00 for 40 minutes

Level 4 dog walk:

As level 1, 2 and 3 but now to include training you, the owner to achieve the same standard.

£22.00 for 40 minutes

Terms and conditions:

In level 1, more than one dog may be walked with yours as level 1 does not include any behavioral work.

In levels 2, 3,and 4, our walkers will only walk or work with your dog for the time agreed. The walking of multiple dogs together is not what we do in these levels as this makes it very difficult for your dog to learn anything. In level 2, 3 and 4, the emphasis is on teaching good behavior. Our team of trained dog walkers do not use food to reward, they teach your dog how to behave with patience and persistence and praise.

Agility Training Classes for Dog and Puppy Owners

My agility training classes run in ten week blocks and you are required to attend at least once a week for the duration of the course. You still pay if you miss a class. You will not progress with occasional attendance.

My Classes for Dog Owners will teach you:

How to walk your dog on a slack lead

How to teach your dog to want to come back to you.

How to deal with nuisance dogs off lead.

How to avoid trouble in a park environment and look after you and your dog.

How to socialise your dog or puppy in a calm and relaxed manner so when you walk away from the other dog, your dog chooses to come with you.

All breeds, and mixed breeds of dog are welcome.

Costs:

Each hour long class costs £14.00 for one dog and £19.00 for two or more dogs. There is no additional charge for more than two dogs. You can pay as you go or pay for a block of ten classes.

Health and Safety:

Please do not get your dog out of your car until requested to do so

If your dog gets very stressed around other dogs, I will ask you to provide and use a muzzle for your dog.

You must follow all instructions correctly and carefully.

I am fully insured.

Progression:

Upon completion of the first course, subsequent courses are available for you to continue and advance your training in the class environment, until you have reached a satisfactory level of control with your dog. 2 weeks notice is required for the termination of your attendance following the completion of your first ten week block.
