look... declan makes plans for them to all to go to mass (as a ploy to get them - cough, ronan, cough - all together). but just because he makes plans doesn’t mean it happens.

do you think that in the last book something very bad can happen to adam so that ronan returns to "conscience"? or what do you think can happen? maybe adam can "save" ronan...

ooooh i think that would be cool, especially because i live for the drama. adam definitely knows that ronan has fucked up to some degree at this point, so i don’t think there is any possibility that he isn’t going to try and get to ronan in a more physical sense.

i love all adam moments tbh, but there are a few “soft adam” moments that are mentioned in ronan’s pov, domestic things like his belongings slowly making an appearance at the barns over that last summer (when opal took place), and they seem to be the moments that ronan thinks back to when things are going to shit. just give me a whole book of domestic barns moments. and look... ronan does frequently show his love for adam in his pov.

i’m going to be optimistic and say that despite everything, i think that everything will be okay in the end! he’s still got a lot of people who love and care about him, and maybe now that he knows the truth about bryde, he will be more willing to let the “right” people in 🤞
