I was fascinated when I read this article after seeing the movie because I absolutely agree that casting it over using CGI de-aging was the right call for many reasons, not to mention the actors for young Ed and Lorraine did an incredible job…

BUT I also couldn’t believe how close we came to actually seeing Vera and Patrick bring that opening scene to life. Oh they would have bodied that. I don’t think I would’ve survived the rest of the movie.

Like just imagine this Ed and Lorraine going through that only a few years prior. UGH MY HEART
