So I told my therapist that I was transracial. I was expecting him to be like "You should love your deadrace," but he didn't. He told me if I feel white, then I feel white, and I have the right to do whatever I want with my body as an adult. We then spent the rest of the session talking about how I plan to pass.

I feel so affirmed rn, like just hearing a real person affirm my radqueer identity was so nice.

I feel like in this community, especially among the pro-contact side, we really need to start spreading sex education around a LOT more than we do.

I really, truly do believe that Youth/Adult relationships and the like can be fully consensual even in sexual contexts, BUT not when this community 1. Constantly treats victims of actual sexual assault and grooming like shit and ignores them and 2. Never give proper sex education

The biggest issue with Youth/Adult relationships is two factors, one being that the youth usually has a lot less of a chance to be able to get help if the relationship turns sour or already was beforehand which makes it difficult to safely leave that relationship, and two being that a lot of youth do not have proper sex education for the case of them wanting to have sex (whether with adults or other youth) which often leads to them being susceptible to being coerced into unsafe or harmful sex with no idea that it is harmful.

If the youth had both a trustworthy community to go to when in need of help out of relationships (which the Radqueer community is supposed to be, but has proven many times to not be fully reliable) as well as the necessary information to know when a relationship is becoming bad or harmful, then the idea of Youth/Adult relationships being harmful essentially gets wiped out of the question.

And before the commentary on youth's body being "improper for sex" or otherwise incompatible with it, there are PLENTY of other groups of people who are the same and even so sex is not just penetration. Plenty of intersex people cannot have penetrative sex (whether themself being penetrated or doing the penetration), there are conditions people with vaginas can have that leads to the inability to be penetrated without internal damage or harm, there are plenty of people with penises who just do not have the length necessary to penetrate others, and so on so forth. This should NEVER be your reason behind why sex is not okay for a person.

And no, youth are not incapable of understanding sex. At the age of 12 I+ could probably give you a very basic rundown of what sex was and what consent was, and to this day I+ wholeheartedly believe that if I+ were to ever have attempted to have sex with another person it would have been capable of being both safe and consensual for me+.

Tsukumo - A term for a kodo that is an object. The term may also be used as an identity.

Examples may include:

An object that is a small version of whatever it is, such as a small size cup.

An object that's associated with children or kodos, like an elementary school uniform.

The name comes from Tsukumogami, a tool in Japanese folklore that has acquired a spirit. Not necessarily related to kodos lol, but its like... imagine the object has the spirit of a kodo, or something (not that that's really what a tsukumogami is either... shhh... its okay).
