My entire wardrobe has magically transformed to black. Mom bought me some new crystals. I’m hiding a new kitten under Jackson’s bed. All is right in the world.

Wow, that sounds so cool, especially the kitten. 

I wouldn’t say I go that hard, but let’s just say I’ve been making my halloween costume for awhile now, have some spooky decorations in my room, and I have halloween movies I watch almost everyday in the month of October.

It’s not silly! I’d love to make a treehouse!

It is though, because I just said something I wanted as a kid. 

But if thats something you want to make then I certainly won’t stop you. My backyard has a tree perfect for it that you could use even. I mean if that’s something if you want to do.

No, tell me. What kind of stuff do you build?

Well I’m no builder, I do like to build worlds in writing. 

I’m crafty though, I sometimes make little models of worlds and sets that take place in my stories. I was going to ask you about a treehouse cause I’ve always wanted one but it seems silly to ask for at this age.

I just want to team up with my dad, always have.

He builds buildings all over the place really, and sometimes works on houses. He built our deck when we were real little. He’s great at all of it.

That’s really cool. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to do that with my mom or not. Depends if I take some of my harder classes more seriously. 

That’s awesome! Maybe you can help build something sometime- nevermind actually, it’s silly.

I guess edgy is a faster transformation. I recommend getting a pixie cut, go platinum, and learn how to do bottom eye liner. Wardrobe is another thing entirely.

I don’t I’m that committed to changing my hair. I’m little to give up some inches and change color. 

Oh I don’t that. You don’t want to see into my closet, it’s a mess.

Yeah, but also because I’ll be working with my dad. I’m hoping to get gen eds out of the way and then study architecture and come back and work with him.

He builds all sorts of stuff.

Architecture is cool. That sounds like you’ve got it all figured out, I’m jealous. 

Like what? My mom builds things too, but like robots and tech stuff.

Go for it. I won’t judge.

I’ll just go with whatever fits the best. 

That’s good cause I’m really playing it by ear right now.

If you’re trying for a vibe, you’ve got build your look around it. You can’t be edgy and mysterious, by the way. Which do you want? And how attached to your hair are you?

Miracles happen every day. But no, thanks, I’m good on drinks for the night.

I good being any of those, I don’t care which. Not attached, I change it all the time.

You’re not achieving it, I can tell you that. Maybe don’t tell people that you usually sit at home. Undermines the vibe.

I ditched my date because she was getting a little needy. How are you buying drinks, you look twelve.

Yeah, I know, I’m doing my best with what I got. It’ll get there eventually unless you have any ideas. I made my own fake idea, that and the employees. 

She- got it. Maybe she was just nervous. I made my own fake ID at the library. Maryland was easy to fake and the staff here sucks.

Talk. Dance. Hook up. I rarely come to a bar alone, so I’m usually doing one of the three if not all.

I prefer edgy, mysterious, sexy. Or at least, that’s what I’m going for. 

Why are you alone tonight? Which three are you going to do? I’ll buy you a drink.

Yet to be seen. What do you normally do at bars besides drink?

Yeah, I guess. I usually go with friends, but my best friend has a boyfriend now so I figured I’d try the date route.

Uh, no to limo, and maybe to an after party. 

Yup, exactly, You get it. I’m single as a pringle, and all my friends seem to have dates or are getting dates. Like I think it’s stupid that it’s excepted of us to even have dates, you have more fun without one anyway. I could go stag but that makes it even worse. 

After parties are cool if you know the right one. What college are you going to?

To gain life experience. 

Try new things, get outside of my bubble, make mistakes. I thought some people I knew would be here but I was wrong.
