I’m pretty sure everyone in Rio was saying it wasn’t. I mean, the city needs to be able to support that and I don’t think they always do. And Boston withdrew it’s bid for 2024 before it was even finalized because so many people complained.

MASON RYDER:

With the school year starting that meant the back to school party was right around the corner. Mason had no doubt that the social chairs for each greek house were planning something good, but when Perry asked him to help her come up with some ideas he gladly agreed. Normally Mason would just be the type to show up at a party, it wasn’t that he didn’t know how to plan one or didn’t know how to make sure everyone was having a good time. It was just that he didn’t always like having that added stress of getting such an event together, plus his pockets didn’t exactly run as deep as some other students here. He liked Perry though and since he was just helping out he didn’t see the harm in it.

They decided to meet in the school courtyard, and Mason said he would bring them coffee from one of the nearby coffee stands. Most of his best ideas came from when he was just relaxing in the courtyard, watching people pass by, fiddling his his guitar. It was late morning, he thanked the barista and walked just around the corner where there were quite a few others around the courtyard, either studying, waiting for someone, or just enjoying the sun. He scanned the area wondering if Perry was already there, seeing as he was a tad early from the time they agreed to meet.

PERRY COLLINS:

Perry genuinely liked Mason. She didn’t really dislike many people, but she actually liked him. With the new semester coming up, and it being her last as PPB’s social chair, she wanted to make sure there were some great parties. While Maze may not be the typical frat boy, she knew that he had to have some good ideas, so Perry asked him to throw around some with her, to see if they could come up with anything. She headed to the courtyard they decided to meet in, running a bit late as she was prone to do, her hand covering her eyes as she glanced around in the sun for Mason. 

“Hey!” she called as she spotted him, heading over to the bench he had sat on while waiting for her, sitting next to him and flashing him an easy going smile. “Thanks for meeting me. You know I need some good ideas for this semester and I figured talking to someone out of the norm would be good,” she said lightly, taking the tea she had asked him to get her from the coffee cart and taking a small sip.

That just sounds like another pointless thing to have to build. I would love to watch the competition but everything that’s built for the Olympics usually goes to shit afterward, it’s such a waste of money.

Probably. I mean, yeah, everything is abandoned and it’s stupid to move it around every four years when they could set up a permanent place somewhere and just update instead of completely rebuilding, but whatever. I’m still excited to watch it.

It’s delicious, anything s’mores is super yummy though.

Any dessert with graham cracker is delicious, in my experience.

I might have to look into that but let’s hope my class load for the next two semesters will allow me to skip summer school again.
