Just a little update, Been working on getting the blockout for the building finished, I think I’m almost done with the exterior of the building, I’m hoping to have the exterior presentable by tomorrow night, so I can get it printed out for my portfolio on the Tuesday, got a little interview on the Wednesday so hoping I can impress with this.

Other than that I’ve been working a lot on getting some more neon's in the scene and Graffiti, I also made a little Dumpster for the alley, and I really like how it turned out.

Also I’m gonna have the garage door shut, just to hide the interior for my interview, hopefully I’ll have a really cool update this time tomorrow :)

Just an update from earlier today as a lot has happened, so I went back to the blockout and made the structure a million more times Cyberpunky, I think its gonna looks super awesome when it’s finished. I’ve also textured the windows and some other bits and bobs,

And we’ve got Neons!!!! I’ve did neons in the past but these are my best looking neons to date, I’m using a new technique and that coupled with volumetric lighting is really awesome looking. 

Tomorrow I’m hoping to work on the massive steel work up the sides, add more neons and get some of the exterior props started.

It’s been a little while since I updated anyone on my work, a lots been going on, so I had a little art test for a company which I’ve got to keep hush hush, and I’ve had to travel around a bit, and I’ve finally gotten a chance to sit down and do some art!

I’m taking a temporary hiatus from the fallout project, I want to focus on a separate diorama of a little cyberpunk junk shop, just to work on and improve my modelling, I’ve only been working on this for a day but I’m already digging it. 

I’m hoping to have loads of neon signs and a lot of junk robot parts in the shop :)

I’ve had another really productive day. pretty much finished most of the structural modelling, (I want to re texture the floor inside the boxcar to make it more similar to the roof and exterior wood pieces. 

I’ve also worked really hard on making the mood more dramatic and interesting. mainly by playing around with the lighting and fog. really digging how this is coming along

I’ve had a very productive today working on the boxcar. started off with fixing some of the UV errors on the structure, and then going back into substance painter and adding an extra layer of age to the boxcar.

After that I focused on creating the rest of the main structure such as the front door and the wooden platforms. really happy with how they both turned out. 

I’ve also worked a lot on the lighting today, want to make the scene a lot more atmospheric, and I think it’s definitely a lot more atmospheric now. 

My goals for tomorrow are get the rest of the wood based assets completed, such as the stairs, railings and scrap coverings.

I’ve started up my project in UE4, got all the materials and assets for the boxcar shack into the scene (I want to redo the floor, and make the rust a bit more contrasty) but other than that. created a little blockout of all the assets I want to make for the first diorama. a lot of these will be reuseable in other shacks and houses in the hamlet.

It has been way too long since my last blog entry, a lots been going on and not a lot of time to do any personal projects, but I’m back, so I’m gonna forget about the graveyard for a little while, cause I’ve got a new exciting project, I’m gonna do some fallout fan art, been playing a lot of fallout 4 recently, and I really just want to make a cool little settlement in UE4. I want to spend a lot of time on this and make it really AAA looking. my plan is to get the buildings out as dioramas and post them on my artstation, whilst working towards having an awesome scene.

Been taking my time on the Mausoleum Building, been having a lot of fun getting back into zbrush and really going into the Asset. I’m hoping to have it finished Pretty soon.

Been working a lot on the first Mausoleum, I’ve been working on greatly improving the blockout for the building and getting some of the sculpts done for the Building. really happy with the direction I’m taking it in.

I’ve also finished the fence and created a simple blockout tree to get a better idea for the scene. 

I think I’m going to aim for something more akin to dark souls for the end result, but so far I’m really loving how its looking.

Been a little while since I posted, didn’t want to post any WIP whilst my blog was getting marked for university, however my marks are in, so I think its cool to continue, also graduated with a first (YAY!!!)

but yeah since my last post, I’ve made a couple little models for my portfolio, and worked on an art test that I hope might get me a chance to work in the industry, but whilst I wait, I’m working on a little graveyard/cemetery scene.

so far I’ve completed the blockout and a couple of assets as well as trying to set the scene. personally I’m hoping it comes out really nice.

Spent the last week finishing of my spaceship as well as creating a lot more props and really trying to bring out the environment much much further. 

I’m really really happy with how the little guy turned out,

The main body of the ship is pretty much finished, just need to add weapons, details and landing gears.

Haven't posted much in the last week but I’ve been working on getting some misc assets into the scene, finishing off the ceiling, I think architecture wise I’m almost finished, theirs just a couple small misc jobs to complete. 

with my props I’ve been working on getting more storage types into the scene, just to add that extra level of clutter to the scene, also added sci fi palettes and a few more decals.

the main thing I’ve been working on is the spaceship, I’ve been mainly tackling size, composition etc of the craft, but I’m at a stage now where I’m quite confident the final design will look nice, the idea for it is that its a small fighter, personal transport ship. I’m hoping to have it finished by the weeks end.

worked on making the floor more optimized last night as well as adding ambient sounds and music to the scene, to just make it have a lot more substance, really like how its came out.
