After an exhausting afternoon of practicing songs with Austin, Luka was in dire need of some fresh air, hence why he decided to take the family dog Lizzie out for a small walk around the neighborhood. He found himself barely paying attention to his surroundings because as usual, his thoughts were elsewhere, though Luka was quick to find out that the pavement was pretty slippery. He tried to be careful as he stepped through the snow, though an excited Lizzie seemed to have other plans. “Hey, calm down, girl,” he frowned as she tugged firmly on the leash. It was then that he noticed he was standing in front of a familiar house —Dante’s house. It was almost as if the universe was playing a sick joke on him. Then he noticed something else — a police car, parked right in front of the garage, and the fact that someone was standing right beside him, apparently also checking it out. “Um…” Luka started, hesitantly. “Do you know why the cops are visiting the Arroyo’s?”
Persephone had decided to go out for a quick run around the neighbourhood, needing to get out of the house for a bit. Her parents were having another argument about various things, most specifically about how her mum hated Boston and wanted to move back home to England. When the topic went to her, however, she realised it wasn’t something worth hearing, they were stuck in Boston for a while. She was jogging in the neighbourhood when she saw the police car, stopping to stare. Seeing Luka, the redhead shook her head. “No..I haven’t got a clue.”
