[ research - journey map ]
03.23.2018
| Goal is to explore the map - a daily route from where someone lives to Mount Royal - to find what a specific journey represents.
[ curate - balance: minimum of 30 of the same items ]
03.20.2018
| Same item, six sides, balanced in sequence and shape.
[ curate - colour: minimum 20 items ]
03.13.2018
| The colour green is my favourite colour and so very perfect for this week’s St. Paddy’s celebrations.
| Fruit and veggies showcase so many beautiful shades of green, though, when debating between the two, my sweet tooth won again!

[ curate - hierarchy: 15 - 30 items knolled in public ]
03.06.2018
| Hierarchy is conceptually represented in the idea that dining etiquette varies within and across social groups, cultures, and generations. The meal environment and number of courses served inform the experience as a whole, while normative society has assigned a social order to our dining practices. These do’s and don’ts are considered linked to our social position in life.
| Hierarchy is visually represented here by the size of the dishes and cutlery (and associated course), and the established sequence consumption - the outside-in rule.
*Shiny and polished things increased the difficulty in finding the right light, and avoiding shadows but the blue and detailing of the dishes continues to make me happy!

[ curate - birthday edition ]
| My friend is away in the UK for a year so I sent her a birthday knoll of all the coasters she has collected over the years.
[ craft - felt hearts for Galentine's ] 02.18.2018 | Lots of laughs with the gals making felt heart ornaments with pompoms and tassels - xoxo.
[ curate - repetition: 50 items ]
02.27.2018
| Repetition refers to something - a/an object, element, word, action, sequence, etc. repeating over and over.
| Unable to demonstrate my gym, tan, sleep repeat routine - j/k... I chose to repeat something we might not consciously register as an act of repetition.
| Sitting around the campfire while exchanging stories and laughter with friends and family, we roast marshmallows, and sandwich chocolate with graham crackers - smores, the simplest of production lines.
| Yes, I had to indulge in my creations!

| Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UN) - “Drafted by representatives with different legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of the world, the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations.”
| Article 3 - Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
[ curate - contrast: different 20 items that somehow change the meaning of Valentine’s Day ]
02.13.2018
| One day, I will surrender the key to my heart. As partners, we will be truly vulnerable, and committed to the unbreakable bond.
| Ironically, as I do, the lock goes by Miller [second photo].
| The keys and lock represent unlocking one’s heart for someone special, and connecting as one.
| Contrast can be observed between the lock (one) and keys (many), and the heaviness of the keys, and the lightness of the background.
| Contrast in a literary sense is represented in the symbols of love and the concept of love.
Happy VDay All, xoxo
