I’ve done a lot of “sketchbook” embroidery projects recently, working out different ideas. I did this repeating origami fox embroidery a while back and wondered where to take it next. Sudden idea! What if I used fabric-covered buttons as almost raindrops that slightly change the look of the design?

Art I did for my Gobelins summer school pitch, Friends With Robots! A story about a socially awkward human named Imani who befriends a runaway A.I. the two of them get wrapped up in a plot that could unearth old weapons of war, and the two gather up new friends(and foes) along their journey to prevent their world from falling back into war. Will probably keep working on this in my spare time :- D
