todayâs sun was really nice. it shined down, warming up her skin and her heart alike. absentmindedly, she stretches her arms high above her head, taking her time to really soak it all up.Â
how long had she been here, anyway? it had been so many months, she can hardly believe it anymore. even though this place was nice, she still missed her friends. sheâd only been able to find ken (and ryoji-kun), but the rest were no where to be found.
..she hopes theyâre all okay, and happy, where ever they are.
she wouldnât have ever noticed it if she hadnât stopped her walk to stretch out her body. a soft whineâ that of a dog. carmine eyes scan the entire area in disbelief, looking for the owner of that little sound.
and thatâs when she spots him.
a loud yell leaves her lips, voice full of disbelief. â koro-chan!? â
[Koromaru reacted before she did. The smell is so familiar, he couldnât help but open his eyes. He stood back up, tail wagging curiously.]
[The smell was familiar, but it wasnât. But it was.]
[He couldnât understand, in that moment. It was a smell that he found comforting, one of home and familiarity. Yet at the same time, it brought him a strong sadness, one that rivaled even that of Minato, his leader.]
[Deep within him, he heard Cerberus howl, his voice holding the same type of pain. This was someone important to him, he could tell. But he couldnât remember.]
[The confusion manifested itself in running around the girl, whining and sniffing at her, trying to confirm something he knew he couldnât.]
âAwooooo...â [He rested his front legs on her, rubbing his snout into her clothes for some sort of answer. Anything.]
