Well, how soft is your hair? Is it like a pillow or more wiry?
-she feels her hair for a moment-
It's a bit wiry at the ends but for the most part it… isn't.

Well, how soft is your hair? Is it like a pillow or more wiry?
-she feels her hair for a moment-
It's a bit wiry at the ends but for the most part it… isn't.
besides greed, which sin would you fight if you had to pick one
-she thinks for a moment-
Pride.
Who has fluffier hair, you or Sloth
-she shrugs-
I don't think I've… ever spoken to Sloth so I honestly don't know.
chari chari chari chARI CHARI CHARI CHARI YOU SHOULD GO FIGHT GREED
Tempting, but no.
“Well, I think we’re friends, anyway~” Lust said, raising an eyebrow at the tone Theo was using.
When the note was placed back into his own hand, the Sin’s expression turned quizzical. “What~? You want me to tell her that I did not find you~?” he asked incredulously. A faint flicker of frustration started in him and he was sure the smoke under his skin reflected it. “I’ve been looking for you for….what, it must have been a few months~! You want me to just tell her that I didn’t find you in my own Circle~? That is ridiculous~ I can’t just–….”
Lust refrained from crushing the note and pocketwatch in his hand, a tendril lifting to pinch the bridge of his nose. “….Why do you want me to tell her that~?”
The brunet spluttered indignantly, combing a hand in his tangle of hair. "Pft-- w-- why?! It's been two fucking centuries since I've died!"
Theo took shuddering breaths after his outburst-- this had been featering in him for so long that to let it out was both a relief and something he knew he'd regret later. But for now, he'll focus on the former.
"All that time… all she can muster is a lukewarm apology," he said, practically spitting out the words. "And that's it! No escape plan, no alternatives, nothing."
"I should have known better than to assume."
personificationoflust:
“I believe it would be fair to say that Charity and I are friends~ She’s given me this note and this watch to give to you~” Lust said. He couldn’t find an answer to the human’s second question. He simply stood silently as Theo’s eyes scanning the words scrawled on the page.
When he stopped reading, Lust tried to make eye contact.
“….Well, I suppose I did want to deliver the message~ And that I did~” he said, voice lowering. “But you really want to go back out there right away~? You may stay in here a bit longer, if you wish~”
The Sin held up the pocket watch again, trying to return it to the original owner.
“I could also give a message back to Charity~ If you’d like, that is~ Do you want her to know anything at all~?”
"Friends, huh?" Theo echoed, a hint of sourness in his tone.
He looked down at the hand that held his pocketwatch, but only briefly as he put the note back into the Sin's hand.
The man's expression crumpled into an amalgamation of pain and sadness and bitterness. "Tell her you didn't find me," he said gravely. "Now please, lead me out of this crowd and I'll be on my way."
To what, he thought while exhaling a breath he didn't know he was holding.
(Thank you. If anyone needs me, I'll be over there in the pile of Theority (ok not going with nicknames) Charidore feels.)
(( :} ))
If he had charitable moments, then why not have him as a host? You spent time with him and the two of you were compatible. It sounds like he met all the requirements for being a good host. (your turn in the Theo rp with Lust)
-she sighs-
Look, I explained to him what a host was one time and he… in his words, “doesn’t take too kindly with being part of it”.
I think he wanted to keep the status quo, to be honest.
He was backing away. He was trying to leave the bubble…Outside of this safe area, the winds would go back to wearing him down. Lust wanted to extend his arm, or maybe even a tendril, just to pull him back closer. But his actions might cause the human to leave…
Didn’t Theo understand just how important this was?
"Hush~" Lust said, voice lowering. From the folds of his body, he pulled out the folded up letter and the now almost-burning pocket watch Definitely the right human… "I’ve brought these from Charity~…I believe this watch is yours, yes~?”
The Sin’s hand extended to offer the two objects to Theo. After a moment, he added, "I didn’t read the letter~ It is private, for your eyes only~"
Theo's brows furrowed, obviously conflicted with reaching out to grab it.
"But you're a Sin…" he muttered as he glanced at the contents the clawed hand held. "Why would she give you this?"
"And why now?" the brunet said as he looked back up at the Sin's face, quickly taking the note and reading the familiar handwriting.
___
Theodore,
If you're reading this, then Lust found you.
Perhaps simply apologizing may not seem like enough since you've most likely been there for several centuries. To ask for your forgiveness would be something that seems ridiculous now.
However, for what it's worth, the times we spent together were the best. An adventure, if you will—
___
The brunet took a deep breath and frowned, quickly folding the letter back into its original state. Despite the fact that he was just a soul by now, he felt… numb. "Dammit, 'Rity," he mumbled as his hands shook. “You really have some nerve— I thought—”
Once again realizing his surroundings, the human interrupted his train of thought and attempted to save face.
“If that’s all you wanted to do,” he said, his breath hitching from emotion. “Then… I’d like to be out of here. This crowd. Please.”
Was Theo charitable or was he just your host because you liked him?
First of all, Theo was more of a… companion than a host.
While he did have his moments, he was a bit far off in terms of host potential.
Lust watched as the man grew pale. Destructive wanderlust? And premarital intercourse? This was certainly the human he was looking for.
"Theodore Harrison~" the Sin repeated after the man had finished. He watched the other glance around at the crowd surrounding them and frowned. "I have been looking for you, you know~"
"I have something for you~"
Even with all his fear, Theo couldn't help but let his expression scrunch into one of suspicion. The brunet was slowly backing away even further, causing the back of his head to poke out of the bubble.
"And what would that 'thing' be?" he said, not even trying to hide the hostility that was starting to grow in his tone. "If it's anything like what the demons do here, I want no part of it."
"Because~" The Sin started, slipping a hand into his pocket. He kept his eyes on the man, watching as he began to back up. "I am Lust~ The ruler of this Circle of Hell~ And I’d like to know your specific sin~”
Lust’s claws clicked against the trinket in his pocket before brushing against the letter from Charity. This had to be the man he was looking for. The pocket watch wouldn’t start exuding energy if it wasn’t him, right?
"And your name, as well~"
"…Huh," the brunet mumbled, his face paling.
I thought he'd be taller, he thought. And be more monstrous.
"The gist of it is destructive wanderlust," he replied as he looked over to the crowd around them and shivered. "And premarital intercourse."
The brunet's eyebrows furrowed at the next question. "It's… Harrison," he said, almost dismissive. "Theodore Harrison."
Lust waited, observing the man as the gears turned in his head. He certainly didn’t blame the other for hesitating- the succubi and incubi were known for playing tricks on the Damned in the Sin’s circle.
But after a moment of thought, the man stepped within the boundaries of Lust’s calm bubble. His hair dropped into a tangled clump on top of his head as his clothes relaxed against his body.
"Glad to see that you’ve stepped in~" the Sin said, wide, glowing eyes staring down at the sinner. "It’s awfully windy out—" Lust paused, hand lifting to pat his own pocket. There was a warmth growing from the folds of shadow where he had kept Charity’s note and trinket. Was this the man?
"….Do you know why you’re being punished out there~?"
"As usual," the brunet muttered, combing his hair out of his eyes with his fingers in order to have a better look of the other person.
He didn't like how the demon looked at him. Or how his eyes glowed. He slowly stepped back as far as the force was, his fingers at the edge of where it ended and the winds began.
"Why do you wish to know?" he asked as he diverted eye contact.
The man in front of Lust was obviously not expecting anyone to grab onto his shoulder. Briefly, the Sin felt a bit bad for startling the man. But this was his Circle, he needed to keep up appearances.
"This crowd is…pretty large~" Lust said, looking up once more to see the wailing figures that still surrounded them. Most were swarming over each other, fingernails digging into skin and feet kicking against as they tried to escape the winds.
The Sin glanced back down to the man. He was…scruffy. A brunet. Human. "Would you like to step inside for a moment~? There is room for the both of us~" He released the man to gesture to the invisible force around his body.
The brunet thought for a moment, obviously hesitant about the offer. He slowly brought his hand forward, only to reel back in surprise at the lack of winds around the… demon? For now he was calling it that for lack of a better name.
On the one hand, he should have declined the offer. The brunet was never fond of the demons native to this Circle.
On the other hand, he hated crowds, even when he was alive.
With a sigh and a skeptical gaze fixed on the one who offered, he slowly stepped into the invisible bubble. The brunet's hair, which was whipping around wildly in the winds, calmed down into a messy tangle of locks that covered his eyes.
What do you mean, you had them for a year?
It means exactly what it means, Anonymous.
Now for why, well… I wanted to give these all away at once, but finding a good gift for some is… difficult.
Is it gifts?
Yyyyy… es…
What's in the bags?
-she quickly gathers them up, her face a bit tinged with embarrasement-
It's nothing. You needn't worry about it.
