Hello! My name is Sophie and i really like you guys! I know you wont be doing any more meetups and im quite sad about that. Will you guys still be doing homestuck cosplays at supanova? Im only thirteen but i love homestuck and will be doing homestuck cosplays!

Hi! I’m afraid the homestuck fandom has died down a lot in Perth, but there were still a few at Madfest a few weeks ago. I hope you have fun at Supanova!

Will there be a Supanova meet?

Unfortunately Perthstuck had their final official meet a few weeks ago to mark the finish of the comic. Every year we have held a meet at conventions but the past couple of years no one has really turned up to them. There may be a meet organised on our facebook page however it is unlikely as apparently our convention meets have become unpopular, sorry :/

WHAT - FanStuck 4/13 Celebration / Radium’s Birthday

Brush those cobwebs off those Homestuck OCs of yours and get into some cosplay because it's time for a Fanstuck meetup!! We will ALSO be celebrating one of our admins birthdays at this event too ( Radmum)

Canon, AU or OC cosplay, it doesn't matter just have a ball!

Some competitions you'll see will be: - Cutest couple - Teams of 2 (3 if you wanna show off some ashen fun) - Cosplay of choice - Including Canon cosplays. - Fan kid of choice - This includes Guardian and alpha selves. - Fan troll of choice - This includes ancestors and Dancestors. - Sprites and Lusii competition - Canon and Fan. - LIMBO and lots more!

If you wish to donate any prizes for any of these, we would love to hear from you!

RULES -

Yes you can have paint, horns, wings, fangs etc.

Cosplay is very super highly encouraged.

Remember this will be a normal work day for the people at the venue, so be on your BEST behavior if you leave to go outside at ANY point in time.

The usuals - no alcohol, no drugs, no "adult materials", no stealing, no being rude to anyone, please label your food, and be nice to each other.

If you do do a meetup at supanova we should play spin the faygo as a big group~

Sounds fun! However, I would recommend hugs rather than kisses so everyone is comfortable :)

What: After lazerblaze some of us will be going to spur steak and grill next door for a meal (others to the park if they'd like).

Your meal cost will not be covered so you will have to look at the menu, decide what you're having, and then bring that exact amount of money on the day. They do not do split bills so we will not be returning change for the meals.

Please bring $6 for appetisers and drinks, and the cost of the meal you want to buy. This venue is licensed, so bring ID if you plan on drinking.

What: Lazer tag! Lazer blaze is a purpose-built lazer tag arena, and is a team game with the team with the most points at the end winning. There are also more game formats, but we will be briefed on the day and you will all receive information on how to play.

Please bring $20 on the day, plus an additional $6 if you intend to go to Spurstuck as well.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE NOT MARKED YOURSELF AS "GOING" ON THE FACEBOOK EVENT YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING. If you do not have facebook, please message this page (with your name) and tell us you're planning on attending and we will write you down.

You must have RSVP'd by the 15th.

Food and drink: Bringing a water bottle will probably be a good idea! This is an active game.

For food, check out the Spurstuck event. We will be heading to there afterwards.

Cosplay:

Highly not recommended - no paint or horns. Casual cosplay with troll/kid shirts is fine, but wear clothing you can run around in. Black clothing is recommended, white colours will stick out in the arena.

Rules:

Don't mess up the area! This is a public place, please be respectful.

Please be nice and friendly to everyone! We don’t want any fighting or unnecessary arguments, so to keep this a fun event for all, keep it nice :)

Dont steal or damage anyone else’s property!!! You will be given a warning and possibly removed from the event depending on the scenario.

There are still minors in the group so please don’t say anything inappropriate and keep it clean. (Yes, we are aware of Homestuck's content. Still, please watch your language and try to behave)

If you break any of these rules, you will get a warning. If you continue to break these rules, we will not hesitate to ask you to leave the area. So please respect us and your fellow Homestucks so we don’t have to do this.

Beach Meet

When: 11 January, 10:30am - 4:30pm

What: Just a casual get together at City Beach. There are BBQ's and picnic tablets there so bring food to share, blankets to sit on, and one of those pop up tents if anyone has one. Please bring the usual - food to share, water, sunscreen, towels, bathers, frisbies etc The 82 bus leaves from the city and drops you 3 minutes from the beach. No pressure to come/not come as this is a casual meet up to celebrate Christmas, New Years, exams, holiday trading and all that business being over Also - if it's going to be 6 billion degrees in the shade we will postpone the event so no one gets hurt/sunstroke/burnt to a crisp

Food and drink: It would be awesome if everyone could bring a little bit of food to share but please remember to also bring the original packaging or a list of ingredients for those with allergies!

Hey. This page is still here and Perthstuck is still a thing.

Keep an eye out for meet ups coming in the new year, including Promstuck which is an event not to be missed.

I saw on your face book page that you're going to have a bake off meet up. What would be the cut off time for someone to turn up to enter the contest? Since i might be late

A question like this would be better asked on facebook because we'd see it sooner (if you have an account - I'd assume you do since you can see the facebook group posts)

Otherwise I'm not actually 100% certain if the event is going to happen let alone any specific details like that! Keep in touch via facebook though and we should have solid info in the next few weeks (I'll try to keep the tumblr up and going but super busy and bluh)

Is this blog still active, or is it all on Facebook now?

Hiya!

Unfortunately we are pretty much all on Facebook now, I would love to get the tumblr back up to speed like we used to but both Brynne and myself (we who run the blog) are off trying to sort out our personal lives! The rest of the admins are getting pretty busy (which kinda sucks for everyone) so we're all over the place (including not being as active as we'd like on Facebook too)

Soooo I'll try and get the tumblr up again but for the moment, any Perthstuck info will be acessable via the Facebook group

Hi, I don't have Facebook and wish to come to the perthstuck meetup Do I have to get a friend to reserve a place or something? (I'm new to this kind of thing)

Hi there!

No, you don't have to get anyone to reserve you a place to any of our usual meetups. Lately, however, some people have been organizing to go to group things such as Bounce Inc. or Ice Skating and such, and usually need to book. If it's a booked event I would recommend getting a friend to say that you're keen on attending so they get the numbers right, but any other picnic meetup and such is free game for everyone!

Is it bad that I like to look on old plans for meetups and just sit there and imagine how cool it must be to be there at one, like, for real?

Yeah, unfortunately Perthstuck has slowed down a fair bit on tumblr which kinda sucks (mostly my fault though, sorry friends ;-;) however we're still active on facebook!
