Okay, so I’m having crumpets right now whilst talking to someone who doesn’t live in this country. She doesn’t know what crumpets are and now it’s made me think that crumpets are just a British thing and the world do not know what heavenly things they are. They’re like, um, it’s really hard to explain. They’re like soft, fluffy toast but taste so different, the butter soaks through the centre and it’s literally so wonderful. If you can, try them. They are amazing.
