i like headcanoning that inigo takes a surprising amount of notes when he can, especially when doing errands as laslow? his book in the leo manga is covered in little tabs and such, which is a decent indicator that he also has some sort of organizational system. personally, i headcanon that organization to be something only he can understand, the tabs looking jumbled and pointless to most, but having specific placement and colors that correspond to things in his head.

"Ahem." Dear Naga, what was he doing with these flowers and chocolates? Surely he wasn't really giving these to Niles, of all people? Niles would likely not touch the chocolate at all.. Or suggest rubbing them on Inigo's skin to lick off. But the box was still held out, roses resting on top.
Well now, Prince Xander’s retainer was suddenly walking up to him, and with roses and chocolate too? For once, he was glad that today was Valentine’s Day, rather than usually being indifferent about the holiday-no thanks to his reputation.
“Laslow, surely you mean for these to go to one of the fair maidens you’ve been ogling over the past week? While the thought of you and those chocolates together is very, very tempting, I thought you’d chase after a more tasteful target.” The gift was certainly appreciated, but Niles wouldn’t be letting him leave without a fair share of teasing.
His soul wad steeled- Or at least as best as Inigo could manage. In his hands was a handmade teddybear with a ribbon around it's neck, Inigo having painstakingly attempted sewing it from scratch. In the bear's paws was a little card with a cheesy love poem Inigo had found in a book, writing it as prettily as he could on paper. Taking each step towards the radiant hero with caution, Inigo cleared his throat once close enough. "..I-Ike? I.. H-Here!"

“O-Oh…” Ike spoke, having no words for this gift Inigo had given him. He took a closer look at what was written on the piece of paper the bear was holding, and he couldn’t hold back a smile after reading it. He wrapped one arm around Inigo and embraced him, chuckling at the kind and thoughtful gesture.
“Thank you, Inigo. Truly, from the bottom of my heart,” Ike said. He didn’t know what else to say in response to his boyfriend’s gift, but one thing was certain: he definitely loved it.
