Sakura has always been Sasuke's soft place to land, the one gentle thing in his world. His relationship with literally everyone else is tinged with some kind of violence or trauma or cruelty, but Sakura is different.

The only time she ever enacted violence against him had been in an arc where he was out of his mind, she was lying through her teeth to everyone involved, and their relationship was at it's objectively lowest point.

Sakura is a healer. While Naruto is the one who eventually reaches Sasuke through battle, Sakura is the one who heals him. It's through her that he reclaims love, companionship, and eventually family, and violence has no room in that space.
