Reblog so I can get a dog (it's for a good cause)

I’m trying to convince my parents to let me get a dog. My mom said if I convince my father she will approve. I need reblogs to show them this is a good thing. The more the better.

Background info: I am 17 years old. I suffer from severe depression and even worse anxiety. My dog passed away a few years back and since then I’ve also moved away from my cat since my uncle is allergic and lives with us. A big part of my coping was always my dog, then my cat. I need a dog now more than ever. I have everything the dog would ever need, including tons of love. I’ve picked out the perfect pup but I need dad’s approval.

Anything Barney can do.. Flynn thinks he can do it too.

I asked Barney to stand up on some rocks while I took photos. Finally, I rewarded him & let him come back down. Moments later, unasked & to my great surprise, Flynn brushed past me, clambered up to the same spot on the rocks & just stood there, waiting for HIS reward! I hastily snapped a couple of shots then gave Flynn lots of praise & released him :)
