A photo dump of my Sim and Kelly's new home in suburban San Sequoia. Note the beautiful stone courtyard when you walk in off the street through the separate street entrance. This had used to be the driveway leading to the garage. The garage had since been converted into a studio. The driveway, itself, had been taken up and replaced by a grassy area with a fountain. The home, itself, is a Spanish-style two-story home. Family photos from the lavender farmhouse, as well as other articles of furniture, have been relocated here. Outside in the courtyard is a firepit area where we can spend warm summer nights hanging out by the fire. Also, a hot tub is to be had. The house had 3 bedrooms upstairs. We added on a 4th room as our master bedroom. Two bathrooms; one upstairs and downstairs. I split my original 8-Sim household and moved me, Kelly, plus one of my daughters Belle and my goddaughter Shannon. On Mother's Day, Kelly became a momma for the first time when baby Emanuela Jean was born. It is my Sim's 4th child. He has two other daughters and a son from his first marriage.

Just putting up the Christmas lights on my English-style stone farmhouse. It wasn't as easy as you think. I, actually, had to go into build mode and utilize @twistedmexi TOOL mod to put the lights at the right places so that it'd look realistic. Even using the "T" key for the top-down view to make sure that it was properly placed in 3 dimensions.

Now, I mainly focused on the front part of the house. I had previously put lights on that side of the house, the large picture window of my den, plus on the south side all the way up.

Last night, I decided to continue the lights all the way around, except that I didn't decorate the roof on the back side of the house as my property is backed by a hill.

I, also, decorated the front porch, the front door and the columns with lights. Had to use TOOL to reorient them vertical to go up the columns and around the door casing. I, also, did the small bathroom window next to the door. The lights usually will want to snap to the wall and my window casings protrude a bit from the wall. I wanted them to appear on the trim, not hidden in it.

TOOL had to be used exclusively to get lights onto the main Olde Mill Hill Lavender Farm sign that hangs over my driveway, as said sign is at the edge of my lot (and we all know how this game goes with objects near lot boundaries..)

The interior is decorated for Thanksgiving as it's autumn in my game, but IRL it's Christmas season, so the deco I had up all year round (hehehe) pretty much stayed put. So, a mix of the autumnal and wintry festivities will greet you upon entry into my home.

Anyways, I'll be posting more holiday deco to get into the Christmas spirit. Such a beautiful time of year, whether in Sims 4 or IRL. I hope all of you have a very happy holiday season. Happy Simming.

Welcome to my new wine cellar at my Olde Mill Hill Lavender Farm located on Olde Mill Hill Road in the outskirts of the verdant Henford-on-Bagley. In fact, my farm is located a short 10-minute hike away from the Bagley River. Anyways, underneath my peaceful purple fields of lavender blooms, I converted part of my underground lavender oil distillation lab to create this wine cellar.  Step into a quiet room surrounded by beautiful brick walls and archways.  Here, you will have two rooms: white wines, chardonnays and anything requiring chilly refrigerators are on the left; while your red wines are on the right.  Each has their own dedicated tasting tables. Plush seating affords quiet, sparkly conversation over the bubbly.  Don’t forget to admire the artwork adorning the brick walls: our family group portraits, as well as my and Kelly’s couple portraits and other beautiful works. I think I actually found your cc pack before, but it must have gotten lost in my recent Growing Together update mods battle royale.  Anywho, this pack will serve my Sims’ wine imbibement needs.  Oh, there are also 3 mulled wine caskets in the red wine room. So, if anyone wants to build their own wine cellar, I highly--I repeat, HIGHLY--repeat picking up this pack from @tudtuds today.  It is called NCTR and that’s how you can search for it in build mode.

So my Sim and his wife are enjoying their 2nd wedding anniversary by having a big blowout bash at the Stargazer Lounge with the sparkling lights of San Myshuno below them.

Over 50 guests were invited (48 showed). Dancing, karaoke, standup comedy and a DJ booth are but some of the activities that we could enjoy at the new Stargazer Lounge. Also, they have a full bar available to satisfy your imbibements. Plenty of lounge seating to catch up with friends or hang out with your date or SO.

But that's not all! the Stargazer also has a large swimming pool perfect for keeping cool on those warm San Myshuno summer days (and nights). If you're feeling a bit peckish, they do have two grills serving up delicious BBQ meats, veggies, even fish. If that does not suit your fancy, then you can also enjoy gourmet pizzas poolside baked fresh on the premises in their own deluxe rustic stone pizza oven.

So anyways, we decided to use @ts4-poses family reunion group pose to mark this auspicious occasion; plus I do enjoy group photos as my Sim and his wife have a large family. It turned out beautifully as no other group pose pack had poses for very large groups of adult Sims, certainly not 23 of them! Well, using the famous TOOL mod by TwistedMexi and duplicating a few of the poses, I was able to squeeze in 5 more for a grand total of 28..that's right..28 Sims! 😅😅 I did use the Get Famous sofa she used in her reunion group photo.

I have a number of shots both taken by my housemate Angela Pleasant, a level 10 photographer, as well as more oblique angles that caught the city lights and harbor below them via the "C" key in-game (I recently learned how to make wall portraits of the "C" key screenshots for in-game display).

PS: As she states on her page, a couple of Sims may unpose. I had to literally chase them down and get them back to posing. Also, as I had used the TOOL mod to toggle and place some of the Sims, a couple had shifted around when saving the game. Just use the TOOL mod to move and/or rotate them back into position. And turn off autonomy temporarily to prevent this from happening with yours.
