On this Independence Day (I refuse to call it July 4th or to wish someone a happy july 4th because that is a date, not a holiday), my hope is that the USA will not continue to push for independence from God- though it seems we are continuing on that path. I cannot call on God to bless “America” but call on the United States to turn to God. I love this country and have been criticized for patriotism. I have always been patriotic, not just patriotic to resist a political party or president. I hope for greatness from our nation. I see disaster coming, however. If you were to look objectively at what is going on here you can see no other conclusion.
