During Columbo’s initial ten year run (1968-1978), Peter Falk won a total of 3 Emmy awards for his role as Lt. Columbo. He won one more in 1990 after the show was rebooted in 1989. Columbo won a total of 13 Emmys during its ten seasons, including ‘Outstanding Limited Series’ in 1974.
