Ship: Sam Holland x reader
Summary: Dating Sam Holland has been the best months of your life. You were both filled with happiness, and found it easy to confide in each other. One of the main problems he has is missing Tom, Harry, and Harrison, while they’re in Canada for the filming of Tom’s movie. The three of them decide to surprise Sam by coming home, only to walk in while you two are in the middle of watching a movie.
Sam muted the movie playing on the tv in his family’s living room. You two had originally planned to watch it, but it was impossible to not talk for 2 hours straight.
“When are you going to tell Tom and Harry about us?” you questioned, tracing patterns on the back of his hand. He sighed, and buried his face into your neck. His twin and older brother were the only two in his family who didn’t know yet.
“I will, I promise,” he mumbled into your skin, “I just want to tell them in person.”
You hugged him closer to you, hands finding his hair. You knew how hard it was to not have Tom and Harry around, he confided in you about how much he missed them all the time. He chose not to accompany them to Canada, focusing on school. He was lucky to have you, it made him feel less lonely.
“I love you,” you blurted, lifting your head to look into his eyes. The two of you had already said I love you to each other, but you tried to say it primarily during special moments. You showed your love for one another in different ways every day, and it allowed you to keep the tree simple words sacred.
“I love you too,” he said, taking one of his hands and resting it lightly on your cheek. You leaned it, closing the small gap between your lips. You fell into synchronicity in a matter of seconds, deepening the kiss slightly.
He rolled over so he was hovering above you, propping himself up with his elbows. You giggled softly, and he dipped his head to continue the kiss.
The both of you were caught up in the moment, caught up in each other. You didn’t flinch when the door opened, and three pairs of feet came shuffling through the front door.
“Sam?” a deep voice laughed from the living room doorway. Your boyfriend rolled right off of you and onto the floor, crashing with a loud thud. You covered your mouth with you hand, trying to hold back a laugh.
Sam’s cheeks transitioned to a deep pink, making his freckles more visible. He jumped to his feet and brushed himself off. He looked from you to his brothers and Harrison, and then his eyes widened, a surprised look overtaking his facial features.
“Who’s this?” Tom asked Sam, raising a hand to gesture to you. You waved over at them with a shy feeling bubbling in your chest.
“That, is Y/N,” Sam explained, looking over at you and smiling like a dork. You couldn’t help but return the smile at him, admiring every single aspect of him. He was so easy to love, his fluffy hair, all messed up from you running your fingers through it. His freckles, that he was learning to love because of the love you showed for them. His hoodie, that made you want to run over and hug him at any given moment.
“I’d assume you guys are dating?” Harrison piped in, raising his eyebrows at your boyfriend.
“I’d hope so, considering what we walked in on,” Tom said with a chuckle, clapping a hand onto his brother’s shoulder. Sam looked over at you and offered a sheepish smile. He’s happy that his family finally knows, but also slightly disappointed at the way they found out. He wanted it to be perfect, he knows he is in love with you, but he wants them to love you too.
“Well boys, we should leave them be for a while, right?” Harry spoke finally, taking a step backwards to get closer to the door.
While this conversation was going on, you had gotten up for your spot on the couch and placed yourself next to Sam.
“Sam, I know how much you’ve missed them, I can go, we’ll hang out later, yeah?” You spoke softly to him, holding one of his hands. He grinned, eyes lighting up.
“You sure?” He questioned, looking at you and then to Tom, Harry, and Harrison.
“Of course babe, I’ll text you,” you assured you boyfriend, and then turned to the three standing in the doorway, “It was nice to finally meet you guys.”
They all nodded, and Tom reached his arms out for a hug. You took that as a good sign, stepping into his arms.
“Nice to meet you too, I hope Sam here will invite you back here sometime so I can formally meet you, Y/N,” Tom half joked, poking fun at his younger brother.
You talked a little bit more with the four boys, eventually making your way through the house and to the front door. You were just shoving your feet into the pair of shoes you had worn, when you heard running footsteps and a slam. You hovered by the door to listen, curious as to what the noise had been.
You heard the three boys yelling, mostly incoherently, but you managed to make out some of their shouts.
“Sammy got himself a girlfriend!!”
“When were you going to tell us?”
You chuckled lightly, relieved they didn’t hate you. You started leave, but you managed to hear one more thing before you exited.
“I know, I’m the luckiest guy ever. I don’t know how the hell I did it.”
You left with the biggest smile on your face, and though you couldn’t see, Sam had a matching one plastered on his.
