lilia didn’t even look up when she heard peter’s voice, letting out a slight breath before responding, “no i most certainly would not,” she mumbled, finally finding the right bottle she wanted. she pulled it out, setting it down on the counter a bit too harshly, the wine glass was soon to follow. lilia popped the cork out, beginning to pour herself a rather large glass of wine, not even thinking twice about the amount she would be consuming.

peter nodded gently at her words, keeping his distance as she continued to move about the kitchen. he held widow close, giving the small creature a few kisses as he mumbled gently to her something about ‘mommy will love on you soon’ as the kitten meowed back. he kept his mouth shut as he watched her pour, he knew something was up but was smart enough to not question her just yet and wait until she was ready.

lilia was still practically fuming, the issues with her sister wouldn’t stop playing over and over again in her head, causing her to feel like she was really about to snap any second. not wanting to go home to face anyone in her family, she headed to the only place she knew she could at least somewhat cool down - or yell for a really long time and it be okay. without even a warning, lilia opened the door to peter’s apartment, tossing her purse and duffle bag of fabric onto the floor by the kitchen island. the blonde remained silent as she grabbed a large wine glass, searching and fumbling around with pretty much everything to find her favorite bottle.

peter had finally allowed himself a break from his computer, taking some time to love up on widow as they watched a movie together in the living room. it was a disney movie, one he and lilia had seen multiple times but it was good background noise to help calm him down after his work and give his brain some time to destress. he heard the door open and the telltale sound of lilia’s purse hitting the floor, he tried not to think the worst when he didn’t hear her voice, slowly moving himself from the couch, kitten in hand as he slowly made his way into the kitchen. “baby girl...? would you like some help?”

“Correcting shitty tattoos is honestly one of my favorite things. Not to sound like a complete narcissist but do these motherfuckers ink people with their feet? Because that’s what it looks like. It’s pretty cool to be able to turn what looks like a crayon scribble into some decent linework. The amount of people that actually cry when it’s fixed is pretty heartwarming.”

lilia dropped her head forward rather dramatically, hitting her forehead off the corner of the table, “that poor machine? what about poor me? this machine is a fuckin’ bitch and she knows it. - rude ass.”

peter tried to hold back a chuckle at her dramatics, slipping out of the chair to make his way towards the girl, his hands resting on her shoulders as he worked into them gently. “alright, alright, how about we step away from the machine before we do something we regret huh? take a quick break? i think we both need it, and im sure widow would love some cuddles.”

lilia was sat at her small desk space in peters apartment, trying to work on her latest project, but somehow couldn’t seem to get it how she wanted it. the blonde let out a frustrated sigh, slamming the foot of the machine up, nearly ripping the fabric from it, “you dumb bitch, why is it so hard for you to just work properly?” she muttered, throwing the fabric to the side.

Apparently, it’s frowned upon to whip out a bottle of tequila and take shots while on public transport. Apparently, I am now barred from taking the bus for two years. It’s a blasphemy, I’m telling you.

Yeah y’know I’m all for drinking, but if I’m not mistaken, there’s definitely a law about open bottles of liquor in public and public intoxication so like, they were kinda warranted.
