We stayed in Nagano by a super kind couple and they made us so much delicious food ; u ; And they also taught us to make nabe and oyakodon!
To finish our trip we went to.... Onsen!! It was so great as it started snowing and there was an outdoor bath ;; u ;;
On our last day we visited the Zenkouji in Nagano and had some delicious hand-made udon after that!
After the monkey park we went to see the town of Yudanaka and it was such a pretty and quiet place with a great view to the mountains. There were a lot of onsens but unfortunately the one we wanted to visit was closed on that day.. But no worries, we found a couple of nice free foot baths ‘u’ And a lot of pop-up temples as well!
Went to see the Snow Monkey Park Jigokudani in Nagano! The monkeys were so funny haha. It was a super warm day and the monkeys aren’t too much into bathing on a warm day but luckily the staff came to give them food a little after we arrived and they also threw the food in the onsen so they monkeys went there as well haha. It was so much fun as wherever you looked you could see monkeys running around or taking fleas out of one another’s fur! And there were cute baby monkeys as well ‘u’
Next stop was Matsumoto! First we visited the Nawate street which was full of frog themed stuff! One lady also told us the story behind the frogs: Frog is called kaeru in Japanese and on that street it is said that you can buy (be able to buy=kaeru in Japanese) and then return home (kaeru as well) :D
The Matsumoto Castle was also really worth visiting. I ilked how there were a lot of narrow stairs inside the castle and you could actually climb all the way to the top! ‘U’
The prefecture of Nagano is also know for a food called oyaki (soba as well!) so tried them as well~
We made a trip to Matsumoto and Nagano using the Seishun 18 ticket with Hanna! Here’s photos from Koufu where we changed trains and decided to quickly visit the Koufu Castle. Plums were blooming so pretty and the view of the mountains was so great from the train!
There are so many cute bridges along the river I usually jog along ‘u’
Some more Kawagoe photos. There were a lot of different senbeis sold in the candy alley. A one temple and shrine we visited, the alley full of ema plates was so great! Also visited the Kawagoe castle. And there were also such funny fish omikujis in one shrine! Thank you for such a nice day Essi! ♡
Kawagoe with Essi~ We visited super many temples and shrines a cute candy alley as well! Had lunch in a bagel cafe and oh it was so good! We both took the kabocha bacon one and it came with salad, soup and dessert as well~ Also tried yakidango!
Sweets with Essi and Pyry in Ikebukuro!
My friend knew a really delicious Indian restaurant near the dorm * u * And I also got a super sweet package from my family ;u; Thank you!
More food photos haha. Tried a cheese and anko taiyaki one day and pineapple cheese cake ice cream the other! Also found a pretty sakura while jogging the other day~
Shabu shabu with friends! So delicious * u *
Went to Tsukiji for the first time to try sushi there with Essi and her friend! In the afternoon we continued to Shibuya and had some matcha latte there and took purikura! (Stole the purikura photo from Essi /u\)
A few more photos from the Kawazu trip~!
Participated an international idol/otaku exchange event in Akihabara Sixteen! And also got some super good sweets from some kind people who came to watch ; u ;
