It’s 2:30 p.m. in Perth, under a sunny blue sky with a perfect temperature of 16°C. I had a very productive morning, finishing up some simple, cozy meals, trimming bushes and branches, and doing the laundry in the crisp morning breeze.
Breakfast was light but filling, and after a quick shower, I headed straight to my laser session and then the gym. Oh! One of the tyres was flat, so I stopped by the petrol station across the road first.
It was a lovely warm afternoon too. I loosened up my tight neck while alternating between walking and running on the treadmill for 25 minutes, covering about 2.5 km in total, I think. Not bad for a first-timer (again).
I felt cute, so I sent a mirror selfie to my husband, and he approved.
The drive home was enjoyable too, with no traffic. I thought about stopping by Spudshed for some fruit and yoghurt, but in the end, I couldn't be bothered. Besides, it was already quarter past one, and I didn’t want to rush my prayer.
Everything is all right.
And now I’m enjoying this moment in bed, with the heater on and my Oodie wrapped around me, layered with a winter quilt and a comforter. My mouth is a bit dry, so perhaps before praying, I’ll have a quick lunch of soup, some bread, and fruit.
Ah, what a life.
Oh! And yesterday, I visited a gallery, caught up with Esther, and later saw Connie at work in the malatang shop. Esther offered me her employee discount if I ever needed anything from her workplace, and I said yes without a second thought. A discount on necessities is a huge deal these days, and I'm grateful for it.
