Saw the film in theaters five times and read the novel right after. I love the Ray Porter audiobook. James Ortiz is the GOAT. Ryan Gosling has a beautiful nose. Andy Weir is a moron: all art has politics ingrained within, he can shush.

Coinciding with the days of his absence, a bunch of news regarding the beginning of the end surfaces.

Already you can sense something off about him

He looks tired, is really all you can put together initially

You and your classmates start asking questions.

Slowly, you're all made to understand the extent of the situation, his voice laced with something grave you can't quite name

You can't quite grasp the concept of thirty years being the timeframe for the world's collapse, and how could you? you've not even lived half as long

But you look at Mr. Grace's face as he mulls over that thought, going pale

Mumbling up some excuse, he all but bolts from the room

You don't see him for a long time.

Oh this is an *excellent* review and the execution is phenomenal. Great character analysis of Grace too (dont see his resentment for his peers brought up much). I love the drawings and voice acting. This one's a must-see.
