{ I made a fanmade death scene for Fili and Kili…. I thought it would be more feelsy if they were to die together, both being stabbed by the orcs. so here is the best I could come up with using iMovie and the scenes we were given in the film. also, I know the sound is not the best, but it is the best I could get it to be using the softwares that I had. I used iMovie. NOT MY MUSIC OR MY CLIPS! I just wanted to create something! }
The Almost Family
Ilana wanted the night to go nicely. to have just one evening where everyone was sitting at the table, enjoying a nice home cooked meal, talking, drinking, just like a simple family… . .a simple family with- superpowers…..yeah- what could go wrong?
The early day was a bit hectic. Wake up bright and wide, clean the penthouse, wake Harry, give him his meds, cook breakfast, quick kisses for the husband, set out the clothes for the dinner, head over to the Avengers tower, clean that penthouse, grab groceries, prep for cooking, decorate, head back home and get ready, and finally get back to the tower to finish up the dinner. Only thing to worry about now….
Hope everyone can get along and enjoy the company.
Stepping out of the kitchen with a bottle of Chardonnay and a second bottle of cider. Glancing over at the elevator over hearing a ding she smiled brightly and greeted “ Look who’s finally arrived! Now the party can really get started!" Every one exchanged glances before taking a look at Peter welcoming him with smiles and greetings.
” Parker! Good to see you finally arrive. Thought we’d have to go on without you.“ Tony waved him over, holding out his glass for Ilana to refill. After filling his glass Ilana stepped over beside Harry giving him a fresh drink of cider and rested her open arm around his waist. Already she could feel some vibes emanating from him. All she could do for the time being was to love it up and help keep’m calm.
Peter smiled awkwardly at the sound of the welcoming he received from all of the heroes seated at the table. He had to step down two stairs before reaching the table. As soon as he did, he greeted everyone with a smile and a nod before they went back to their conversations and drinking. Peter knew it must have been difficult to convince every member of the Avengers to join them for a dinner, especially without their costumes on. The fact that each of them knew each others’ identities now helped a bit, but it was still strange for Peter to see the heroes he admired and looked up to in their normal, every-day attire.
His gaze stopped at Harry for a moment. Feeling the icy, stinging look he was getting from his used-to-be best friend made him clear his throat and look at his feet awkwardly. A thought came to him. What if he had to sit next to Harry? Would they make him do that? Surely someone understood that things weren’t exactly the same between the two anymore.
The teen lifted his gaze, gaining a bit more confidence, and said, “Harry.” It was the simplest of greetings. There was no expression behind it, but Harry said nothing to Peter.
Looking around the table, he noticed an open seat in between Ilana and Hawkeye, or Clint as he was dressed tonight. Peter’s muscles tensed as he approached the seat that he assumed had been left for him. Harry’s stare followed him, and Peter thanked God the seat for Ilana was between him and the other.
Clearing his throat one more time, Peter decided to set aside the awkward and become the quirky teen they all knew him to be. “It wouldn’t be a party without me, Stark,” he commented, laughing and grinning at his own comment.
"Did you know that if you brought home hot chocolate I would literally love you forever?"
“You mean you don’t already love me forever?”
“I dunno, bug boy. That hot chocolate is really what will buy my love,” she grinned. “I do love you forever–but this will make me love you forever and ever.”
“Oh, hey! Two forevers...! I better get on that, then.”
A silent sigh rose and fell her shoulders as she looked to him. “That’s a dangerous thing, Parker, given what’s happened around here lately.” Maddie knew he meant well, but there had been more and more talk about the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen as of late and as of now Peter was the only one who knew that was who she was.
“I hear Stark blew a hole in his ivory tower.” She stepped closer to him, tapping her cane on the pavement. It wasn’t something she could discuss out in the open.
“I don’t have any clients this afternoon, why don’t you come over for some coffee. Catch up a bit?”
The teen smiled slightly at the mention of danger. Peter could guarantee that he’d be alright, though he wouldn’t say why out loud. Not here. His senses always told him when danger was around, and at this given moment, they weren’t going too crazy.
His gaze traced to the side as he thought when she asked him to join her for coffee. He didn’t think he had anything else today. Nothing that he could remember at least. After the pause for thought, Peter shrugged and said, “Yeah, sure.... Why not?”
He turned so that he could be facing the same direction that she was. His arm went up to his backpack that hung over his shoulder by one strap and pulled it up more so that it wouldn’t fall off. Peter then swung the camera to his back, keeping it out of the way as the two walked.

“Uhhh….. It’s someone I miss…… I hoped to see them…..”
“I’m alright, thanks….. I just need some water…. Maybe sit down….”
“Yeah... Yeah, um... Here. Let me help you.”
“There’s a bench over here..”
“Oh really? Well then prove it.”
“I already proved it! Look, right here. See? I fixed it....sorta.” The teen held up his web shooter which he was trying to update. He wanted to add more to them, but it wasn’t necessarily working out as he planned. The mechanical device popped open, causing him to nearly drop it. Using his spider senses, he caught the object and set it back onto the table.
“Well...I did have it figured out.”
"Did you have to do that?"
“-it wasn’t about of my plan.”The blonde groaned, carefully pushing herself up off of the side walk. The fall hadn’t hurt by any means-however she was sure she’d put a crack in the sidewalk, though she didn’t dare look. Glancing down at the skates on her feet before looking back up at the boy, simply shrugging. “I took the turn a little too fast..”

He looked curiously at her. Peter wanted to help her up, but by the time he had thought to do so, she was already standing again. “You alright?” he asked, looking from her to the pavement she had fallen onto. “That was...quite the fall.”

“…. Just an old friend……”
“Oh. Someone you didn’t want to see? Judging by how pale you were....are. Why are you still pale?”
“Are you sure you’re alright?”

“Because it’s you, and I know that you can do so many things, but hurting me just isn’t one of them. No matter how dark you feel” she reassured him, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
Again he was silent. His eyes fell as his mind wandered. Taking in a deep breath, he stood suddenly and took a few steps away from her. “I’m even angry with myself,” he confessed. He turned his back on her. “I should know how to handle it, shouldn’t I.. I should..be able to stop it. But I can’t.”
“No Peter its not like that, it’s perfectly normal” she soothed him, walking to him slowly and taking his face in her hands gently “you’re going to be fine” she whispered.
He reached up and took her hands into his own, lowering them. “Listen to me,” he said, locking eyes with her, “I need you to promise me something.”
“What is it…?” She asked curiously.
“If I get even close to being angry, and you’re around, I need you to go. To just leave,” he said, looking into her eyes seriously. “I don’t want to hurt you, and I can’t promise to keep you safe from me.”
She looked at him sadly “only if I feel like you might hurt me” she bargained. “Because we both know I won’t leave otherwise”
“Whinnie,” he said, voice firm. “I need you to do this for me. I can’t risk it. I can’t risk loosing anyone el-...” his voice trailed off on the last word, and his gaze fell. The memory of Gwen still pained him, and her death haunted him.
“I just mistook a stranger for someone else…… They weren’t very happy about that mistake….”
“Who did you think you saw?”
