- While Ashby is a real name and works as a good coverup, she actually named herself after the city in Massachusetts

- In spite of that, she was born and raised in Boston, MA. The name stuck because her first robbery took place in Ashby, MA

- (If it weren’t clear enough in her backstory) she is legally dead, straight up not supposed to exist

- In a constant limbo of awake enough to function but tired enough to be able to sleep anytime anywhere at will, no matter how unconventional or uncomfortable

- Quite level-headed and down to earth compared to the rest of the gang, fairly tolerant of most of them

Despite being a smart kid, she dropped out of high school during her sophomore year due to her family’s poor financial situation.

Having not finished high school she could only find customer service jobs which hardly paid enough to cover the cost of living, leading to her moving in with a friend and a lot of stress in her life.

One night while her roommate was working the night shift, during a depressive episode she overdosed on any medicine she could get her hands on. Once her roommate came home and found her unconscious, they called an ambulance and the paramedics eventually pronounced her dead.

Having not taken a lethal amount of medicine, she later woke up and after coming to the realisation that she’s basically a walking ghost, she began robbing banks as a means to make money.
