Doctors Who paired with The Pitt characters who would make good companions for them
Based on my own preferences/reasonings. Would absolutely be open to alternative suggestions.
First Doctor with Dr Frank Langdon and Dr Mel King.
Easiest one to decide on. It's the classic Hartnell team: Scientist and History buff. Pretty boy and Nerd Girl. Sadsack and Starchild. They're Ian and Barbara. They're Vicki and Steven. It's perfect.
Second Doctor with Dr Michael Robinavitch
Because Robby desperately needs whimsy in his life and Two could use a little perspective.
Third Doctor with Dr Victoria Javadi
She's like the best of Jo and Liz put together. Doe-eyed youthful pluckiness plus extreme book-smarts, with just enough of a chip on her shoulder.
Fourth Doctor with Dr Baran Al Hashimi
Tom would really benefit from a grounding influence in his life. Dr Al has a little bit of the Romana thing, where she's brilliant, skeptical of iconoclasm but willing to try things. Plus her receptiveness towards Artificial Intelligences means she'd get along best with K9.
Fifth Doctor with Student Drs James Ogilvie and Joy Kwon
Five accompanied by an insufferable know-it-all smartass in over his head and a mouthy short-stack who would rather be anywhere else? Why fix what isn't broken?
Sixth Doctor with Charge Nurse Dana Evans
Colin has to be paired with someone who can go 1v1 in a shouting match. Dana's like if Evelyn had those city miles on her.
Seventh Doctor with Dr Dennis Whittaker
Competent enough to be useful, naive enough to not realize he's being used- Dennis is the perfect accessory for Seven. Bonus: throw him in with Ace to preserve the "lovingly bullied by gay older sister" dynamic he has with Santos.
Eighth Doctor with Dr Cassie McKay
Just two slutty Doctors sluttin it up
Ninth Doctor with Dr Jack Abbott
One is a survivor of war walking a precarious path between healing from his pain and masking it with a facade of jokes/chasing adrenalin highs. And the other is Jack Abbott from The Pitt!
Tenth Doctor with Dr Samira Mohan
I mean, she's basically Martha. Right down to leaving the show due to burning out from The Horrors.
Eleventh Doctor with Nurse Jesse Van Horn
There'd be the initial respect due to Eleven's existing predilection for male nurses, but when he finds out Jesse can juggle and do party tricks? Done deal. You're getting in the TARDIS.
Twelfth Doctor with Dr Yolanda Garcia
You've gotta give Twelve someone who can be mean. "I am the OR" versus "Hell of a Bird." I don't think she'd last very long in the TARDIS but while she was there, sparks would fly. Probably need Nardole around for comic relief.
Thirteenth Doctor with Dr Trinity Santos
This would be so fun because Trinity is like Darksided Yaz. Santos would get sooo frustrated with the Doctor but goddammit just can't leave because she's irresistibly attracted reasons unknown. ToxicYuri and Relative Dimension In Space.
Fifteenth Doctor with Princess and Perlah
Just three queens yapping their way through Time and Space.
