loudly going "YOU'RE GOOD YOU'RE GOOD" to myself to ward off the memory of every embarrassing thing i've ever done
I actually learned a fun therapy trick for this!
The statute of limitations on arson is 6 years.
So whenever I remember an embarrassing or shameful thing I’ve done, I ask myself if it was worse than arson. If it wasn’t, and it was 6 or more years ago, I forgive myself.
Also just the comedic shock of going “well, that was a stupid and mean thing I said, but 6 years is the statute of limitations on arson” helps.

I think the best thing about bunch of friends is that in every episode, hanbon is trying to make anthony laugh, anthony is trying to make coy laugh, coy is trying to make will laugh, and will is trying

Max Caulfield in Seattle is one of my favorite things to talk about……she was there for five years and she made two friends whose numbers she doesn’t have (or didn’t keep after she graduated) and u could argue that dontnod simply didn’t want to bother w creating too much content about characters that wouldn’t even appear in-game but the fact that there’s also no emails or mentions of them in max’s computer even tho it’s one of the most expanded upon aspects of the game throughout all five episodes makes it feel at least A Bit Deliberate #tome.. u can easily miss the very fact that max even Had friends if you don’t find the one singular picture of kristen and fernando in episode 1 thats never mentioned again……she also never talks about them to anyone during the game (even Chloe who was Extremely Lonely besides rachel for five years mentions her friendship with Justin and the guys) and the only mention of them in her diary is her saying she made those friends rlly late into her high school years.. she also writes that she was looking forward to blackwell because she thought it would be different from high school and then once she meets vic and the vortex club she concludes that it’s not + her saying to Chloe upon seeing her again that she wanted to no longer be seen as a ‘shy, cliche geek’ which is probably the image ppl had of her in high school she also writes she watches the world through her camera’s lens rather than Participating…and that chloe & her had dreamed about seattle when they were kids and that it ended up being not as great as they thought….she writes about how eager she was to come back to arcadia bay after receiving blackwell’s acceptance letter…
i dunno i personally like to exaggerate the Max Was So Very Lonely And Homesick In Seattle™️ concept.. as a treat.. but realistically i think max was so very lonely and homesick in seattle but also if u spend your entire childhood in the same tiny coastal town where everyone knows everyone and u also spend half of your formative years alongside your Best Friend who youve known for years and who you are convinced u will be with forever and then suddenly u live in Big City where the entire atmosphere is so so different and so are the people and all of this while most likely also having anxiety yeah it has to fuck with your development at least a bit and yeah high school probably Sucked So Bad for her too
