Interactive Fiction Community Raffle for Palestine!
Over 50 authors and artists from the Interactive Fiction community here on tumblr have come together to offer an array of prizes for a focused donation drive! We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for five families who are currently trying to evacuate Gaza. These fundraisers have been vetted by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi (thank you for your hard work!)
RULES:
You MUST donate a minimum of €5/$5 USD to one of these five fundraisers to qualify for a ticket. These are the currencies the GFMs are in (3 in euro, 2 in USD). We chose this amount because it is the minimum GFM allows and we are hoping to encourage as many donations as possible. Please be mindful that GFM does not show the conversion rate if you're donating outside your currency.
Donating once to all five GFMs will get you five tickets. And for each extra 5 you donate, you will get an extra ticket. (ie donating 10 to one GFM gets you 2 tickets, 15 gets you 3, etc.)
There are two tiers we will be pulling prizes from: one tier for writing, and one tier for art. When you submit your proof of donation, you will be asked to specify which tier you want your ticket to go towards. If you are submitting for more than one ticket, you will specify the tiers for each ticket-- you can spread them out between both tiers or put them all towards one.
You will be required to share a receipt/proof of donation via uploading a picture through google forms. We will not be handling any money. You are donating directly to the GFMs, and then showing us proof that you have done so. Please include the GFM and the amount you've donated in the screenshot you upload. We are only taking donations starting from June 7th onward.
We plan to raffle off all possible prizes using a random generator. Once the drive concludes on the 21st, we'll take a few days to gather up & organize the tickets and draw names, and then we will be in touch with winners both on tumblr and via email.

Please understand that these prizes are pulled blind and assigned at random. You cannot pick or choose which writer/IF or artist you get. It is completely randomized. You get what you get-- even if you aren't familiar with the writer or their game. Artists and authors also have the right to refuse your request at their discretion. Please be respectful and remember that our main goal and focus here is fundraising for these families.

I’ve already posted this artwork, but I ended up making a huge mistake. Vethna looked too pale in my original post. It wasn’t intentional, and even if technically the values were “correct”, the end result was not. It was a pretty reminder that sometimes being too focused on grayscales and values is not the right answer. I still have a lot to learn. Thank you so much to those who had pointed out the problem.
I ended up delete my original post, because I couldn’t properly address the issue there. At the same time I think it’s important, especially for me, to be able to still see that mistake. So under the cut I will post my original work, hopefully it will serve as a reminder for me, and it will be helpful for others as well.
I’m so sorry if I hurt someone by posting my original artwork.

Hi, thank you so much for your comment!
I referenced the official art for their skin color, and took the values from there. If you pick the color in my artwork, their skin is a little bit darker in values than the official art. BUT it’s still a mistake, I can totally see your point; in my artwork everything is desaturated except for the blood. It was a great idea in my head, but the result is that everything looks pale. That unfortunately includes their skin color, even if the values are technically “correct”.
Thank you so much for point this out. Your comment was really helpful and a huge reminder for me to not be so blind while painting.
I now tried to saturated their skin and apply a multiply layer to also take down their values a bit and avoid the “pale” effect. I also opted for delete the bluish tone of the light on their face, since it wasn’t helpful at all.
To be totally transparent I’ll post down below my process, my reference and my new version. I’ll post a reply on my original post to put the new version there as well, without delete the original mistake. It will serve as a reminder.
English is not my native language and I don’t know if I was able to fully explain myself.

Fun fact, Vethna was actually what inspired like 90% of the story and I made that first sketch while p l o t t i n g
I was finally able to read The Golden Rose by @anathemafiction and among all the characters one in particular caught my attention. She is a walking red flag, but certainly an unforgettable one. My MC is in trouble.
It's amazing how I went from sketching G. to drawing tattoos without any knowledge. Needless to say, I had no idea what I was doing. The band logo is also totally random, but I wanted to put something in that empty spot.
Anyway both Gina and Griffin belong to @infamous-if. Have a nice day!
My first post on this blog was a fanart of Sysba from @attollogame. I wanted to redraw them after almost two years to see how much I’ve changed.

“They left?” you ask, stunned.
“Not willingly,” Lea growls, moving over to the horses and trying to calm them down. You watch as they grab their potion belt from Gambit’s saddle, strapping it across their shoulder, and reaching up to tie their hair back.
You turn to look out into the shadows. Had Clementine felt that pull?

The Northern Passage was updated today ... and I was finally able to draw Lea. A pissed off Lea. My beloved. Now I'm going to play the update!
When they hear you approach, his head snaps around to look at you, irritation in his expression like you've just interrupted a private moment. The woman - Rowan - places a hand on his shoulder, as if to hold him in place.

Also this time I decided to try a new style and for once I am proud of myself! I really like the result!
Under the cut there is the plain lineart and the tattoos. I don't understand anything about tattoos, so my only option was to play it by ear, but I really like the one with the nun-skeleton-moth and ancient Greek quote. I never thought I'd reopen my ancient Greek books for a tattoo design! ( Click for better quality )
Shadows seem to pour from every corner, smothering the light that once washed the room in white until you’re sitting in an abyss. Pariah stands and watches you, and for a moment it feels like they’re farther away than they actually are. You look down and see nothing but inky blackness at your feet. ( cit. @attollogame )
