Work, by artist Isabel Seliger.
Nychos’ “Translucent Fear” at Kolly Gallery.
Currently showing at Kolly Gallery in Zurich, Switzerland is the Austrian artist Nychos’ solo show, “Translucent Fear.”
For “Translucent Fear” Nychos ponders the creation of his work. For him the process must be that of perfection, every stroke of paint, every layer applied. If Nychos makes one false move, he must begin again. This fear as an artist keeps him creating and makes him stronger, more dedicated to his craft.
From the gallery: “First he draws the bones, then he fills the background in black. He can now paint the different blood vessels and the nervous system. The last step is the translucent color, this step leaves him no room for error and the application must be perfect from beginning to end. This is how he completes each proposed canvases: in fear.”
“Translucent Fear” is on display until November 22nd, 2015. Please continue below to see more work by Nychos from the show.
