Regarding this post, I should add that the Staff of the Originator (Staff of Original Sin etc) does not require charging and is considered - at least by Enha Wiki - to be the best available staff so far, outclassing the Hermit Staff and Demonic Infinity Staff at its best potential option. It is pretty much the Hermit Staff, but with better stats. Lots of variables involved said stats, yes, but definitely worth it.
Similarly, the Bow of Salvation is considered the second-best bow after Bhafel Hunter (due to Bhafel Huntress and the native Piercing it has). It is better than the Demonic Bow for a wide variety of reasons, such as the Bow of Salvation having 100 more range and Piercing.
The Zealot's Great Sword falls a little behind the Bhafel Slayer, but due to the accessibility of this weapon over the Bhafel Slayer, it is recommended to those who use 2-handed swords. However, do note that the speed of the sword is Normal 2-Hit, whereas most 2-handed swords are Very Slow 2-Hit, so make sure to not misuse it!
Lastly, for those of you concerned about dye parts, here are the respective sections that you can dye on each weapon:
Pilgrim's Sword
Zealot's Great Sword
Stigmatic Knuckles
Bow of Salvation
Staff of the Originator - Part A is the yellow bit (the head frame + the top of the handle), Part B is the red bit (framing the crystal and below it), Part C is the pink bit (the crystal + handle).
Hello! It's been a while, but to commemorate Mabinogi NA getting the new divine weapons, I thought to dig up info for them from KR. This is because some of these are quite fun, like how the Zealot's Sword has Piercing, etc. I will be using the Enha Wiki and Mabinogi Times as my references (linked above).
What I will list is the following for each weapon:
Base stats (min to max).
Additional randomized stats (min to max).
Best possible stats with both base and random.
Repair fee (no enchants).
Upgrades (PARTIAL artisan upgrade information).
Best possible weapon with best base + random and upgrades.
Please note that I am merely translating what's been posted, so if it turns out to be different in NA, I apologize! Also, the upgrade names may be different as well (I'm kind of translating them literally), but the specs should be the same.
Additionally, I will be putting down which stats are affected in the artisan upgrades, but I am unaware of what their mins/maxes are. This is because, due to the exclusive upgrade that each weapon has, not many people artisan upgrade the weapons, if at all.
As a general note for all of them:
Yes, you can special upgrade all of them.
Yes, they can be reforged.
Yes, they can be enchanted.
Yes, they can be artisaned.
No, they cannot become spirit weapons.
This is a rather text-heavy post, please be warned! Also, I hope everyone knows what UG# is (it's just what number the upgrade is).

This post will only be about the new gameplay elements, so as to not spoil anyone. I'll put the character info/story update in another post.
Highlights of this update is, quite obviously, the Divine Knight Skill Set. Along with this, we have the new Raid Boss Sado on our hands (with a new Request and Party System that allows for up to 16 members to fight together in a raid), and new shiny weapons made exclusively from Sado's drops.
Interestingly enough, the Divine Knight Skills are divided into what are called 'Main Skill' and 'Sub Skills'. There are 3 Main Skills which have 5 Sub Skills individually. These Sub Skills seem to be mainly used for Raids, so I wonder how that's going to pan out.
Everything under the cut because it's going to be a long post otherwise! I'm also translating pretty literally for the names, so apologies ahead of time for iffy terms.
New Boss Fights
Combat with the new Raid Boss, Sado! [video showing his skills]
The Harbinger of Omens who is instigating strange events that're happening all over Erinn, Sado. You must bring together the strength of the Milletians and harness the divine power to stop Sado. By collecting the materials that Sado drops, you can make new weapons.
Wow that's small, here's the full!
From left to right, we have:
Pilgrim's Blade
Zealot's Great Sword
Knuckles of Stigmata (Stigmatic Knuckles? Stigmata's Knuckles? Which sounds cooler, I don't know!)
Bow of Salvation
Staff of the Originator
Cylinder of the Gospel
For the Sake of Fighting Sado, a New Effective Support System!
A Party System on a much larger scale: Associations!
Well... it literally means Associations. I feel a much more fitting name is probably Alliance (like in Aion) because that's precisely what this system is like.
This party system allows one to extend beyond the rudimentary party member limit, all the way up to 16 members.
This system allows you to create an Association Party fit for fighting Sado!
It also comes with a matching system that will automatically allow you to search Association Parties that fit you best!
Finally, for the sake of smooth party play, you can have your own Association chat!
Request System!
These are Requests (or Orders) given to those of the Knights, ranging from Daily to Weekly quests of varying difficulty.
As you progress in your fight against Sado, you will be able to take part in particular missions which will allow you to complete your fight in a variety of ways!
Also, through these Requests, not only will you be able to obtain experience points, but also new Sub Skills as well!
New Divine Skills: Elegant Skills Obtained from Borrowing the Power of the Gods
These skills are necessary to effectively oppose Sado and only those of the Divine Knights can use them. The new skills are divided into 'Main Skills' and 'Sub Skills'. The three Main Skills can be obtained via the mainstream generation quests, while the Sub Skills are obtained through fighting in Sado raids and partaking in Requests.
Now onto the Skills! We have three skill trees: Execution, Restriction, and Protection. Let's go in-depth a little:
Execution Skill Tree
Main Skill: Judgment Blade [video] A Skill that manifests the power of the Gods into a great blade that tears your foes asunder. Not only can it hit your enemies in a straight line, it can cause an immense amount of damage if used in the right moment, especially in fights with Sado.
Sub Skills:
Greater Strength
Binding Blade Edge
Crumbling False Belief
Baptism of the Blade
Divine Vitality
Restriction Skill Tree
Main Skill: Celestial Spike [video] A Skill that manifests the power of the Gods into spikes that pierce your foes. When this hits its mark, it will cause Divine damage-over-time and also slow down your foes. If you use this against Sado the moment it protects itself, you can maximize the damage of any Execution Skills used against it!
Sub Skills:
Overflowing Belief
Spreading Faith
Deep Scar Upon the Soul
Weight of a Conscience
Thorn of Sin
Protection Skill Tree
Main Skill: Shield of Trust [video] A Skill that manifests the Divine power into a Divine Shield. It allows you to protect as many party members as possible within a set time limit. It especially is effective against Sado's special skills. Otherwise, it is the only way to prevent death at the hands of Sado's powerful normal attacks.
Sub Skills: THESE SUB SKILLS' NAMES....
Understood Distance (This is literally: The Distance Which the Heart Can be Conveyed. What a mouthful!)
Healing Hands
Magic Negation
The Gait of the Protected
Restoring Hands
That's about it! As to what each of these sub skills do, your guess is as good as mine. I'm sure new information will crop up in time!
If you have any questions, feel free to drop an ask as usual!
It's that special time of the... the month, I guess (it's kind of monthly), where Carasek's Chest is due for an update!
New items include the Rabbit Ear Hairband (with moving ears, no less!), Droopy Cat Ear Hairband (also moving ears!), Hameln's Tuner, and the Sun Crown (which makes you yellow, like how the Ice Crown turns your skin blue).
Now let's talk about Hameln's Tuner for a second. You must be at least a Veteran Bard to use it and the generic description on the post says that it has a set bonus (by itself, like Shamala clothes) that prevents the user from 'being off-key'.
It is entirely possible that this set effect is going to simply increase your chances of getting a good or perfect performance in Playing Instrument or Singing, but I don't see why this would be used for normal music.
Jam Music is always perfect in KR and if you wanted to do a perfect performance when soloing, you would obviously use a skill. The piano is the only exception to this, but even then, why would you bother making an entire item with a talent level restriction for that? Unless they really wanted players to use this for getting perfects for Playing Instrument/Singing training...
As such, some users are theorizing that this item might increase your chances of getting a Marvelous/Haunting Performance when using a music buff skill and that would be absolutely great. Like what if it guarantees a Haunting Performance or something?
Of course, don't quote me on it, because we don't quite know what it does just yet. Here's the description of the tuner for extra hints:
Hameln's Tuner. The tuner that Hameln uses when tuning his instruments. If you equip this, you will be able to play music perfectly and flawlessly. It appears that only individuals who are sufficiently knowledgeable in music can use this.
Pretty exciting in my opinion! I'll keep an eye out for what the actual effect is (inb4 it's just normal music ;_;).
[KR] The Fairy of the Forest's Apparel Shopping Bag + Variety Purple Card
[original] [info post]
*First in a series: next will be the Fairy Flora pet, then the new 10th Year Anniversary Festival Gacha, and the last will be about Mabiland, so stay tuned (ノ゚▽゚)ノ!
New apparel shopping bag in KR and it's called the Fairy of the Forest! As usual, there are two bags for each gender and they both come with idles. The female idle can be seen here and the male one here (you can also go to the original post to see them in non-fuzzy resolution!) The little text bubble is pointing out how this is an idle and effect unique to only this outfit-- which I would think is obvious, but hey!
Also, in celebration of this being Mabinogi's 10th year, they've released a cash shop item called the Variety Purple Card. This item comes in two flavors: Female and Male. When used, you will be presented with a 3 x 3 card with question marks in each of the 9 boxes and, depending on which you pick, you will be given a full set of an out-of-print premium outfit (no summer 08 equivalent ;_;) in the gender of the card you chose. In other words, if you used a female one, you'll get a female version of the outfit and so forth.
It's not any outfit set, however. It's locked down to 8 old outfits + the Fairy of the Forest Set, sadly!
I've listed which ones under the cut, along with images and a bit more info.
As usual, opening a shopping bag gives you the outfit for that gender along with 30 days of Style Tab.
The female shopping bag yields:
Fairy of the Forest Apparel
Fairy of the Forest Hair Decoration (I'm beginning to think I should've shortened this to Fairy Forest...)
Fairy of the Forest Shoes
The male shopping bag yields:
Fairy of the Forest Apparel
Fairy of the Forest Earrings (specific to each race)
Fairy of the Forest Sandals
And you can complete your look with a Fairy Flora pet, giving you both a matching couple's look! The set comes in preset colors, but you are, of course, free to dye them as you desire.
As mentioned before, this is the set-up you're presented with when a Variety Purple Card is used. Select any one of the nine boxes and you'll be rewarded with a random set from any of the following. Once again, the gender-version of the outfit depends on the type of Variety Purple Card you get. If you used a female Variety Purple Card, you will receive a female one. Same idea for the male!
Stating the obvious here as I list the sets, from top left to the right and down:
Pilot & Stewardess Set
Swan Lake & Nutcracker Set
Bell Fox Set
Pajama Set
Fairy of the Forest Set
2012 Premium Winter Wear (also comes set with the race of the character, since differing versions)
Alice in Wonderland Set
Black Outing Set
Sailor Set
Apparently these were some of the most popular premium outfits in Mabinogi KR, which is why they were rereleased in this fashion. I hope if we get a version of this, the selection will be a little different!
I think that's about it for this post. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask as always!
ヽ(〃'▽'〃)ノ Congratulations to Mabinogi KR on its 10th 'birthday'! (Well, on June 22nd, anyway!) I'll be translating the many events/items released today or tomorrow, but first, I thought I'd translate this video because it has some very fun and amusing factoids about Mabinogi KR throughout its 10 years. Hopefully you'll find it interesting too! I APOLOGIZE FOR LACK OF CUT, DUMB VIDEO POSTS ;_;
-----------------
A new world had opened up to you with your exciting introduction to Erinn. Now, ten years' worth of time has passed.
Mabinogi was born on June 22nd, 2004. Why, it's already grown up to be a 3rd grader in elementary school! [t/n: in Korea's system, of course]
Happy birthday to you, dear Mabinogi!
A Milletian met at the beginning of Mabinogi's days (let's say they're 12) would be a gallant adult now (with the Adult title to boot!) Seems it's already time to rebirth, isn't it?
In these ten years, 6,200,000 Milletians joined us in Mabinogi. That means that 1 out of every 8 person in South Korea is a fellow Milletian. Like this, we spent a lengthy ten years together with everyone on Mabinogi. In what way or shape has Mabinogi taken its place inside your memories?
Perhaps through the many activities in Mabinogi that further enrich your Fantasy Life?
Fishing, cooking, commercing, composing, gathering, and part-time jobs: it is you myriad of Milletians who hold such hobbies and interests at heart. Up till now, Milletians have fished up 229,400,000 fish. That's more than enough fish to have the people in Busan eat their fill for a whole year! [t/n: South Korea's second most populated city] 6,300,000,000 pieces of wool were sheared, 2,300,000,000 eggs were gathered, and 10,000,000 liters of milk were milked. That's enough to make 520,000 wool/fur coats and 1,430,000 hotcakes!
The owls have so far flown 31,000,000 times to deliver mail, 30,000,000 times to deliver quests, and is working hard even now to search out Milletians like you, wherever you are. And such busy Milletians have traveled 117,400,000 kilometers for commerce, which is enough to have traveled around the globe 29,000 times!
Of course, we can hardly forget to mention the lively and dynamic combat in Mabinogi, now can we!
Amongst the Milletians, the one with the highest cumulative level is 42,247. What about the monsters who oppose the Milletians everyday? The number one monster that knocked out the most Milletians is the Giant White Spider. On the other hand, the monster that was most knocked out by Milletians is the Gray Town Rat. And in these ten years, the Ciar Beginner Golem has been defeated 10,000,000,000 times. 1,300,000 Milletians have fallen in battle and 44,000,000 Nao stones have been used. Of course, after such fierce battles, weapon repair is inevitable, yes?
The ever unforgettable Ferghus, who can't be left out in such a discussion in Mabinogi, has failed weapon repairs 584,927 times. Even so, everyone! Please remember to not attack the elderly in Erinn.
The many memories made together on Mabinogi just come to mind, don't they.
6,800,000 pets have been made so far as well. Who was the one who accompanied you with your shaking footsteps as you set out on the path to adventure? 300,000 players completed G1 and 38,000 guilds have been created. Were you able to keep those promises you made with such smiles?
48,000,000 campfire kits have been used and as their embers reach into the sky, all the joyful moments and sorrowful moments turned into happy memories.
Do you remember? The start of your new life and, not the end of it, but a different start. The ones who gave life to Mabinogi are the Milletians.
Thank you for coming to Erinn.
A Wonderful Ten Years: Mabinogi, the Next Generation.
This new event on KR Mabi is basically meant to promote the Carasek Treasure Chest (which is the equivalent of NA's Eweca Orb Gachapon). Every time one opens a Carasek Chest, they will always receive a Gold Coin. These Gold Coins can be exchanged to Carasek in Dunbarton for specific items. New items that can be obtained this way are the Elegant Afternoon Tea Tables, the Classy Afternoon Tea Tables, and the White Archangel Wings.
The Carasek Treasure Chest also received some new additions to its list: the Sweet Ribbon Starlet Wig, the Rose Blossom Starlet Wig, and Cessair's Suit Wear (Coco's outfit, basically).
Images under the cut for length!
The items you can receive through exchanging these Gold Coins are:
2 Credne's Reforging Tool + an Elegant Afternoon Tea Table featuring the Maid OR a Classy Afternoon Tea Table featuring the Butler (150 coins)
1 Carasek Bag (10x16 inventory space) + 1 White Archangel Wings featuring this idle motion (300 coins)
Now, this is where it gets slightly ridiculous, because from what the posts say, it appears that you get 1 Gold Coin per box. That means you'd have to open up 300 gachapon boxes to get the White Archangel Wings! The coins are also only available in the event period specified above (May 29th to June 11th). These coins are untradeable, so that's not an option either... It might be possible that you can get more than one coin at a time, but that upper limit is not specified at all in the posts. Edit: Does not seem to be the case, as chuwoo said in their post here.
Granted, this is meant to be an extra to the usual gachapon, kind of like those points that build up when you use store cards, so the one coin limit might make sense there...
And considering the drop rate of most wing items, 300 bucks might not be a steep price after all.
As for the new additions in the actual gachapon itself (these will be permanent, unlike the Gold Coins):
The one to the left is the Sweet Ribbon Starlet Wig and the right is the Rose Blossom Starlet Wig.
And the other new addition is the Cessair Suit Wear set to the left:
They are also receiving the Ice Crown, Rhetoi's Rabbit Costume Wear set, Pan and Lorna Gold Boxes, Life Skill x2 Potions, and... Firework kits.
That's about it. If I find any videos for the wings and the tea tables, I'll update this post accordingly. As always, feel free to ask questions if you have them!
A new apparel shopping bag is in the item shop and it's called the Spring Festival Apparel. (Apparel? Outfit? Which flows better, I'm not sure!)
There are two bags, one for each gender.
The male one yields:
Spring Festival Formal Wear
Spring Festival Laurel Wreath
Spring Festival Gloves
Spring Festival Shoes
The female one yields:
Spring Festival Dress
Spring Festival Corolla (The ceremonial coronet, not the Toyota car...)
Spring Festival Corsage
Spring Festival Boots
Opening a bag, no matter for which gender, will also give 30 extra days of Style Tab.
The outfits come pre-dyed in the colors seen here, but of course, the outfit can be dyed otherwise. It also appears to come with an idle (* 봄의 축제 의상 쇼핑백을 사용해서 얻은 의상을 입으면 특별한 모션을 확인하실 수 있습니다), but I haven't seen anything about it yet. I'll update if I find anything!
New gachapon released in KR mabi called the Drama Epilogue Chest. The new content includes Cessair's Robe, horrifying monkey doll bags, transformation medals of all the Ace Heroes, and such!
More info under the cut!
As explained above, you can obtain the new Iria Season 2 items in this gachapon. The items are Cessair's Robe, Pink Doll Bag (4 types), and the transformation medals of the Ace Heroes.
Along with these items, one can also obtain Mysterious Robes, wigs of Dowra, Cessair's Heart, Tarlach, and Maike, Young Tarlach's Transformation Medal, Demonic Weapons, and etc. Each chest also yields 3 Dragon Raid Crystals of Regular, Fine, or Finest when opened.
Cessair's Robe has an EXP boost (10%) for Shadow Missions, much like how Mysterious Robes have a Quest EXP boost.
There are 4 types of the Pink Doll Bags (I... I don't know why they're called pink dolls either...):
Pink Adventurer Doll Bag (Inventory 8x7) *If you equip an L-rod and summon this doll, it will create a unique effect around areas with hidden artifacts. Just use the L-rod action where the effects are located and you can easily find your artifacts!
Pink Tarlach Doll Bag (Inventory 6x6)
Pink Millia Doll Bag (Inventory 6x6)
Pink Ruairi Doll Bag (Inventory 6x6)
When you open the Drama Epilogue Chest, you'll have a chance to receive a Pink Doll Bag Chest. While this chest is tradeable, the bag itself is not. You cannot dye the bag and you can only have a max of four summoned at a time (most likely including other doll bags).
As with all doll bags, they will pick up gold and give stat boosts. The post does not detail what the stat boosts are and I haven't seen anything on Gameabout yet. I'll update if I find the information, however!
That's about it for this gachapon! Next up is just a quick info dump on the Spring Festival outfits!
from 4/26 to 5/6, jp mabinogi will be having a hot time event where one will receive an item called 'ferghus' treasure box' upon logging in. when you open the box, you have a chance of receiving one of the following items in their 7 days/15 days/30 days/permanent forms!
the items possible are:
riceball hat
bitten riceball hat
burger cap
ferghus' wings
rice paddle
as with all hot time events, the box is limited to one per account per day, cannot be received by pets, and if you're logged in before the event begins, you just have to relog or change channels (formalities that i translate but are they necessary idk fFF
