Jamie can’t help but, cringe back when Haruna suddenly attacked Yuji. His hand moving to his mouth to cover it in shock. Getting secondhand embarrassment isn’t exactly…easy for him as he more so lives off of schadenfreude, but something about her speech really made him, wish she hadn’t said it for her own sake? It’s a hard feeling to explain in terms of Jamie mental process but, yeah it’s not a good feeling either way. The way Yuji speaks sends chills down his spine that quickly pulls him out of his embarrassment. Yuji Matsumoto speaking illy of Haruna was the last thing he expected- though in a way it doesn’t shock him all that much? Everyone does have a breaking point, Haruna just happened to get to his, sadly enough

They never much interacted so Jamie’s thoughts on her come from group discussions and whatnot. From what he’s seen/heard of her, he does quite like her, he doesn’t see why peopel would dislike her. She seems chill and maybe not exactly friendly but friendly enough.

He’s regretting not really speaking with her one on one, partly because he does like her attitude, and partly because he managed to Sneak around Haruna’s room and her saying he reminded her of Veronica so. Of course he’d Want to find out why.

Final Thoughts: Mysterious.......he likes that.

They never much interacted until near the end, but from what Jamie did know of him from trials and their few interactions, he did quite enjoy Masashi. Again, there wasn’t anything Jamie could see for why he shouldn’t like Masashi (maybe the heehaw thing was insensitive but Jamie also found that hilarious). He found a lot of similarities between the both of them, so it was kinda hard for him not to be more inclined to liking Masashi.

Also he just loves it when people start unnecessary drama that’s not even harmful like it’s so entertaining to him.

Like u said, had we been more active I would’ve loved to do more rps with the two of them, but alas.

Final thoughts: pretend i put that same aesthetic thing u made but it also has “almost thought processes” and “interests” tacked onto it

Jamie’s views on Haruna are...tough. He admires her dedication, he just doesn’t like her personality from time to time. Though he has...very strong opinions when things start going bad for him so unfortunately for Haruna, she got on his bad side almost immediately. I wouldn’t say it’s hate but he...doesn’t like her. She had her moments that made him be like “oh MAYBE I’m overreacting” but he’s. very easily moved back to his original opinions. It’s an up and down opinion very often.

Final thoughts: he’s an asshole

Jamie loved Ai’s firey personality. Did he think some things were a little uncalled for? Maybe. But she was just. So fun to listen to and read in the chat. He didn’t much know about her outside of trials and the group chat but he did feel a lil :( when she died cause her fire was gone in the trial.

Jamie had pretty positive opinions on Genta before he died. There was no reason for him to feel anything negative about him. Even the whole “devil’s advocate” thing was fine to him because...well it’s not like Genta was being terrible after all.

I believe Genta was the only one who ever found out more info about Jamie’s past too? So like, Jamie trusted him enough to talk about that.

Genta being friends with Yuka also kept him high in his mind because Yuka’s cool so that means Genta’s GOTTA be cool. He was actually kinda ): when he died cause Genta was such a cool guy, he didn’t need that.

Jamie has an interest in both Kanon and Kazuko. Kanon originally took him off guard during the Mario Event when they all had their little talk about tattoos and whatnot and so his original image of her got wiped away. THAT’S what got him interested. It was the shock after shock from her that got him really interested, her choice in books, the fact that she was friends with Haruna, to the fact that she even murdered. Everything jsut got him more and more intrigued in her person.

Kazuko, on the other hand, interests Jamie in the way that, she hid this information from everyone and her talent as a body double made him more...supportive of her? i’m having a hard time thinking i have tmpgis playing in the bg. He thought like wow she’s really cool and really good at pretending he Likes that.

Also her murder method was 👌 to him.

Final thoughts: He’d let her kick his ass probably. Also wishes he could’ve spent more time with her.

He is…useless. As always. He retrieved the journal and that’s what matters!!!! So yeah he’s just listening since he barely has anything to contribute. He does kinda like the fact that Haruna never commented further to him, though he figures it’s because she had other matters to take care of. She is, after all, being accused of being the mastermind as well, just to a lesser degree.

But now he knows what’s in the journal! It sure is a journey. Confirming his own theories and giving new information as well, hm. Jamie looks to Yuji, looking to see his reaction. How predictable.

“Matsumoto-san, you’re making yourself more suspicious by the moment. You could at least be nonchalant about it like people were in the past trials.”

Thanks Jamie. You, once again, were useless and should stop talking. He pauses, trying to remember the simulation they’re all talking about.

“Fan-san, you were the only one that was…hmmm…recognizable, in that one I believe. I don’t recall if there were other bodies but you were the only one we could see the face of at the least.”

Okay maybe not completely useless. Yet.

Jamie had made his way back to his podium once Ryan got the book open, and he just, like he always does, listens to everyone speak. He does take his attention to the fight between Michiko and Masashi for a bit, intrigued by the conversation. He’s not even taking sides because hey, he likes how both of them are suddenly acting so.

Then comes Haruna and Tadashi, and he sighs a little before going back to smiling, just kinda, tilting his head.

“Sasaki-san, you can add your own evidence but don’t discredit other evidence without having seen it first. It doesn’t help the image Matsuo-shi has of you and in fact makes him seem more right about you.”

His eyes close, the smile staying on his face.

“I haven’t read the notebook myself but I’d believe them when they say EBULLIENCE-shi can’t be the mastermind if that’s what they say the notebook provides. So again, until you have heard it, don’t speak against it.”

He’s really Not holding back anymore when i wish he would.

Jamie, last minute, would’ve put in a vote for Tadashi after all but i’m a FOOL who forgot again to vote. He just watched the heavy debate quietly before- his attention was taken to the newly announced ‘Shoji’s’ and EBULLIENCE’s new look, or rather, would it be her old look and it was her new look that was removed? Either way, he seems to be…intrigued by this new information.

“I see…so that’s why you two were so against having her name out in the open from investigation. It’s because you didn’t want anyone to know you’re related! What a display~!”

Man! This is definitely a turn of events! And with the announcement of Tadashi being the right culprit. Man. What a turn of events. Turns out his theory was right, it just had something unexpected thrown into the pit with it. His grin just, stays. That Jamie Fenn Smile™ has made it’s permanent way back onto him once again. And as if that wasn’t enough excitement for the writer, Tadashi just going off on everyone and /admitting/ he wanted to kill Haruna is just, holy FUCK he’s having the time of his life here. To think it just took surprise after surprise to get Jamie so enthusiastically fired up.

He does dig into his bag again, putting his keycard away and pulling out the notebook, going over to Ryan’s podium to hand over the notebook.

“Here you are.”

The smile disappears for a second.

“Let’s make sure this trial goes well so no else has to die, hm?”

The smile comes back and he gives a wink. Thanks.

He groans a little when Haruna singles him out, but goes ahead with the check. If you pay attention you can see him acting as if this was infringing on his time (which, it isn’t, what else would you do during a trial???). But once she leaves him be, he just goes back to leaning onto the podium, head in hand.

When people started to ask, Jamie digs in his bag, pulling out his keycard and going to scroll through it. Once he finds Ai’s texts, he shows the others.

“i fucked up” “bhind vending on my floor” “cld u get it” “the book” “th” “thing we found” “bye”

“I’m sure it’s her given the fact she would be the only one who knew where the book was and also the fact it was sent right before she died.”

He just waits for the other checks to be done and for the final words to be said. Humming a bit to himself. He’ll believe this one as…it was a theory of his. But he’ll also believe Tadashi’s own remarks about how it couldn’t have been him. In fact he’ll just go with anything at this point. He just knows he didn’t do it.

“The texts were asking me to pick up the notebook on her floor, as well as saying she ‘fucked up’ before ending it with 'bye.’ I thought something seemed off with it but I didn’t want to ask, that would’ve been rude. But I guess now I know what that meant.”

He shrugs a little. Just giving a thumbs up to Tadashi.

“Yeah I figured since she said it was the stuff we found, but I was curious to know if she put anything else in it.”

He takes his attention to Haruna as she starts talking, just sighing a bit as he listens and looks around the room to judge other reactions.

“It would do to add onto stated information rather than state you found it, thanks. By the way you could’ve just asked me to open Kimoto-san’s door, I was in there.”

Jamie seems to pause after that, kinda making a face at no one in particular but himself. But he goes back to his usual demeanor soon after. He didn’t mean to come off as rude but perhaps it’s best to leave what’s said alone, if she chooses to comment on it he’ll deal with the consequences then. Once he’s done speaking, he just goes quiet to listen. He eyes Yuji as he goes on.

“So she died just a few minutes after texting me…”

He guess that makes sense, given the 'I fucked up’ and 'bye’ messages she sent him. Alibis sounds like a good thing to do though.

“Well I feel like I’m off the hook considering she wouldn’t text her murderer what she sent me. But I’ll just say I don’t think I left the hotel at all today so. I don’t have reasons to kill either of them, seeing as Kimoto-san and Oichi-san had joined me in investigating this past week I’d like to keep her alive. Matsuo-shi I’ve never had a one-on-one conversation with so I don’t have any reason for that either.”

Shrugs. He’s not super into doing the check it seems. Just one final look to Haruna.

“I think Matsuo-shi was saying you didn’t bother to tell him you found it in the first place, seeing as he didn’t know where it was. No need to get all defensive, we believe you did your best with investigating it.”

Well, he’s here? He’s made his way into the trial room and over to his podium before leaning over immediately to rest his head in his hand. He’s got a bag around his shoulder this time around, and…is he wearing heels? Jamie??? Jamie just watches as everyone piles in and when talking actually happens, he listens to what people have to say.

“If…you say you went at 6pm, I have reason to believe you were attacked first as well. Seeing as I received some…concerning texts from Kimoto-san at around 8:20pm.”

He pauses, seeming to think for a moment.

“I’m not bringing a whole lot to the table here, sorry. I didn’t do too much intensive investigating with the crime scenes.”

He takes his attention to Yuji, nodding at him.

“I…admit I didn’t do as many as I planned to, I only stopped in Kimoto’s room, but as I told you in our text exchange, the only thing off that I could see was that her underwear drawer was open and messy, as if she was digging in it for something. If anyone else looked in there in the past, they’d probably be able to tell if there were any other differences came up.”

He moves to dig in his bag, pulling out a black notebook with “PROPERTY OF #_____” on it. There’s a number lock on it.

“I found this on her floor though? I haven’t been able to open it.”
