Game plott:

Crimson Snow Deluxe is the deluxe (and pretty much the complete) version of the prototype build of the game from 2022, which you can play heree. You do not have to play the prototype build to understand this gamee (it's more like a proof of concept these dayss)

This game is a psychological thrillerr, story driven RPG game inspired by works such as Earthboundd, Undertalee, Heroes Of Might And Magicc, and the original Faces Of Nothing gamee

CRIMSON SNOW DELUXE: THE COMBAT OVERHAUL UPDATE RELEASE!

The biggest update to Crimson Snow Deluxe ever has finally been released on Steam and Itch.io! This update was so massivee, that we had to make an entirely new and updated trailer for the gamee! (If you're a returning playerr, this update will require you to delete all prior saves and start a new gamee)

Plot: In this RPG set in the Medieval-Renaissance era of the 1530s, you are a being named Phantom Scott, who after a turn of events in his childhood, vows to destroy the world he has created. It's up to you to decide which path to take for him...

Features:

-Original art and soundtrack! Exactly what it says on the tin!

-Virtual Pet Menu! Take care of Phantom Scott, but check this menu throughout your journey, as each of its two meters reaching 0 can lead to consequences...

-Unique Battle System! A style of combat unique to Crimson Snow Deluxe, with collectable patterns to use to preform your special skill in battle and unlockable abilities!

-Up to 6 different endings (The demo has up to 3)! The choices you make and how much you collect determines what lies at the end of each route...

- Up to 20-30 Hours of Gameplay! Each main route will take you about 5 hours to complete depending on your reading speed...

-Collectable items! Collect 7 scrolls throughout your journey and learn more about the being that is Phantom Scott... What really is he? He certainly isn't human like he appears...

Warning:  This game contains loud sounds and disturbing/unsettling imagery (body horror), depictions of suicide, implied and referenced abuse, nudity, blood, brief mentions of alcohol use and implied sexual content. It is not meant for small children...

This game also contains bright flashing lights that may cause seizures in players who suffer from epilepsy

As part of a big combat update for CS Deluxee, we're adding voice acting into the combat of the gamee! We're looking for people who can speak in an English (Britishh, Scottishh, etc., most of the roles require thiss) accentt, male or femalee X>

In celebration of Crimson Snow Deluxe's inclusion in 2026's RPGMaker Festivall, we've added two new voice acted cutscenes into the gamee (one of which has an alternate version so you could say there's three new cutscenes if you wanna be sillyy X"DD)

While working on the anniversary update coming upp, we got a lot of ideas for things that could add onto the experience of the gamee! Problem iss, is that we have a lot to addd, so we're wondering which feature should go into this update firstt X)

Helloooo, due to unfortunate circumstances with one of our guest creatorss, we will be replacing the characters he has made for the game and removing his credits from the gamee. Below is a list of characters that will be replaced in the coming weekss. This'll most likely be prior to the anniversary updatee, but we don't know for suree (due to the number of characters he owned it's unknown when this'll beee. These things require a lot of planning with our teamm):

The list of characters that will be replaced are as follows: Huizhen, Intelligence, Dramatist, Olympian, Celestielle, and Victorian

Some key elements of lore will be kept the samee, buut a vast majority of lore for them will most likely be changed with the replacementss, as I said these things require a lot of planningg

I dunnooo, quick rant real quickk

Slight spoilers for Crimson Snow Deluxe under the cutt (this is mostly just about themingg, aaa)

It reallyy, really annoys mee, when people play CS and basically gooo: "Bwahhh why do I have to go through the storyyyyy, I just wanna kill peopleeee" whichh, that mindset ignores the entire themes of the work itselff. Like sure the game's about destroying the world you've created but it's likee… A smokescreenn? In a wayy? 'Cause there's a lot of other stuff going on within the story that ties in with a lot of the theming of the workk

The theming of the work involves secrecyy, tabooss, other things of the naturee. Literally the main title of the work ties to the themes of the game itselff!

Obviouslyy, I don't say how of coursee, you have to play the game and figure it out for yourselff

But likee… I've seen this happen three separate timess, all with adults tooo. And it's just really interestingg, 'cause CS is meant to be something like a thinkpiecee, you knoww?

It just annoys me how in this day and age people just don't want to be observantt. They don't care about actually reading between the liness, they don't care about symbolismm, all they care about is just checking off a bunch of boxes as fast as possiblee. They don't want to think when being presented with media that's suppose to make you think and analyse things within itselff

Xbox and Playstation full controller support update!

Crimson Snow Deluxe is now fully playable on Xbox and Playstation controllerss!

(Welll, just aboutt, you still have to use a mouse to click on things during the Jester's Quest or while using the Map of Nor itemm)

Switch pro controllers haven't been testedd, but we strongly believe that they'll also be fully functionall. Once we get enough feedback for themm, we'll add the instructions for their support into the manual and into the game itselff!

Tied Together Pigeons Update

Here we have the biggest quality of life update for the game to datee! Such things in this update include a new voice acted cutscene exclusive to ill/Pernicious routes and a fix to a bug in combat that was previously deemed unfixablee! Please update your copy of the game if you haven't alreadyy X>

Small little announcement

Hello againn! Lately we have reached an ultimatum so we're deciding to release a medium-sized update before the big translation updatee! X>

This update is rather important on the technical sidee, so we say the plans anywayy:

We have fixed a bug in combat that was originally deemed to be unfixablee! This was a bug where sometimess, the buttons wouldn't load on the attack wheell, a rare occurancee, but it still happenedd. Howeverr, we are waiting to release the update that fixes this as it'll be part of this medium-sized onee. Along with implementing this fixx, one more voice acted cutscene is planned to be addedd, something exclusive to the end of ill routee (we wanted to amplify the feeling of dread with this endingg, by having it be an animated cutscene instead of having it be a cutscene told by a scrolll)

A few new bits of dialogue will be added as welll, something to contexualize some bits of Liylah in the Passive routee, etc.

This update will probably be releasing in a week or twoo, so be looking forward to itt! X)
