"So you did come! I was wondering if the invitation was going to go ignored," he happily greeted his guest. He took Akira's hand and with a small little stamp, marked the back of it as proof of 'payment'.

Muhen had given guests of Akechi's permission to enter for free tonight. Food and beverages still needed to be paid for though. "If you want to head in, I'll still be out here for a little bit longer."

"Why wouldn't I? I like this place and you're great for inviting me out to the event." Plus, Akira liked to spend time with Akechi during more quieter times. "I'll stand here with you. I'm sure you'd like the company."

Akira checked his phone when it pinged with a message. His friends were getting off the train now. "Ah, Yusuke is coming her, too. And bringing a classmate." Probably Hifumi.

He'd taken time to prepare for this night. Jazz Jin was abuzz with the gathering for a special night centered on swing, as requested by the owner's adoptive son, Goro Akechi.

He made sure especially to invite one Akira Kurusu, who had caught his attention once when his class went on a field trip to the talk show studio on a day he was to be interviewed. Along with him, he told him he could invite any of his friends--the more the merrier! While he also extended an invite to Yoshizawa's daughter.

"Welcome, come right in!" He met them at the door, gesturing to the stairs that led down into the club. Already the music could be heard from outside. "Please, enjoy yourselves! Dance, eat, just have fun!"

Oh, there was a lot of people here. Of course it would be considering who was here and currently speaking to the crowd. Akira watched Akechi greeting each person with a smile on his face. So polite and handsome, too. When it was his turn to enter, Akira smiled at Akechi and approached him.

"Hey, thanks for inviting me here. Ryuji and the others texted that they were coming soon."

Goro Log 2 || July 20XX

He saw Shido yesterday. I didn't stop him from seeing the man who was essentially a sperm donor. I have my own mixed feelings about Shido, now even more because I'm romantically involved with his son. The same one he attempted to erase off the planet.

Goro had been sleeping for the entire day since then. Not that I blame him. It still worries me he hasn't woken up before I have to remind myself that this was a part of his stress and depression. I'll continue to take care of him, make sure henhas a shoulder to lean on. Figuratively and literally.

Just this once he allowed himself to lean into Akira as they went together to the couch. He barely caught sight of Morgana sitting on the armrest, but paid no mind to him as they sat down.

...He said nothing. He still wasn't calmed enough for that. He still was furious, he still felt sick.

Even so, he wordlessly rested himself against Akira, letting his body release the tension he wasn't aware he'd been holding.

"...Mm."

Morgana's ears perked up, noticing he looked completely worn out. Did he need anything to drink. Maybe they should grab a bowl...just in case. He looked like he might possibly puke...

Akira couldn't move with Akechi leaning on him, not wanting to make him more sick. He may actually have to get him to the toilet if the nausea persists. He rubbed Goro's back for now in a futile attempt to provide some sort of comfort. The guest bathroom was a little across the way just in case.

The change of heart they've done for Shido likely changed for the better, but that man caused some deep scars on his boyfriend. Akira wasn't sure if he would forgive him for that any time soon...

"Take your time. I'm here." He assured him.

He felt dizzy, even after he'd taken a seat on the train. With one hand gripping tight to a metal bar, he rested his forehead against it, taking slow and deep breaths. He didn't even have the guts to snap at him about trying to kill him in his palace. That part...the cognitive version of him--he couldn't have been fully oblivious to it, since he knew of the metaverse. Shido...that told him he was planning to kill him soon after anyway, right?

Next stop--

The unsettled feeling in his stomach was still persisting, even aas he got off at the prompted stop and within a ten minute walk had made it to his and Akira's apartment. Agonizingly, he made it up the stairs, realizing just how weak his legs felt now.

Sliding his key into the lock--he realized the door was open, so he walked in and hung his set of keys on the holder by the door. "...Akira?" He spoke with a hoarse voice as he took his shoes off.

"I'm here." Akira replied as he got up from the couch and immediately rushed to Akechi's side. He noticed how pale he was and he kept an arm around him to steady him while bringing him over to the couch to rest. Asking Goro how he was or what happened was on a list of stupid questions. What was there to say about the man who nearly used him to get to the Phantom Thieves and achieve power through illegal means?

"It's...up to you if you wish to talk, Goro." He told him as he kept an arm wrapped around his midsection. Akira doesn't intend to pressure him to tell him everything. He just wished to let Goro feel comfortable enough to.
